We Loved everything about Bavaro Place except check in process was slow…. Food was not good but its mass production in an all inclusive so to be expected . Never any available chairs at beach . People seem to put their towels early on beach chairs and think they can leave for hours and come back to ‘their chairs ‘ while the rest of us have no chairs . Everything else was great and would definitely go back

The resort itself was beautiful and amazing. It is well kept and easy to get al around. There is lots to do and the food choices are great. The drink choices were plenty and strong! The one thing I found was that the service was less than other resorts we’ve been to. Servers seemed bothered that we were there, the omelette makers at breakfast were very slow and so unhappy. Even tipping didn’t really help to speed up the service.

Our five-night stay at Barceló Bávaro Palace was nothing short of exceptional. The room was immaculate, with beautifully maintained interiors, generous plush towels, and a complimentary minibar that was restocked regularly. Room service was seamless and highly organized, reflecting the resort’s attention to detail. The property itself is grand, elegant, and meticulously maintained, with staff always present and ready to assist. The private beach and breathtaking ocean views complete the experience—you truly never need to leave the resort. One of the most luxurious and memorable stays we’ve had.

Hello, My experience was very disappointing to be perfectly honest. And I expect a refund to my original payment method. Please see list of my issues and why I deserve a refund at a minimum a 30% refund of my total booking and I’ll be reporting this to Expedia and corporate headquarters as well. Day 1 Barceló Bávaro Palace I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Barceló Bávaro Palace. While the resort initially appeared beautiful, with impressive grounds and amenities, the quality of service and overall guest experience quickly declined. Our first major issue occurred at the Coral Seafood Restaurant. The food was poorly prepared and badly portioned. The clam chowder resembled a watery clam sauce poured over gravy rather than an actual chowder with no actual clam pieces or potatoes as a true chowder is made. The mozzarella sticks were cold and hard and visibly old. Definitely not fresh as one would expect. The French fries were inconsistently cooked and two completely different colors on the same plate. During dinner, a server spilled a cup of water on my daughter. Instead of offering a sincere apology or even attempting to assist in cleaning it up, she wasn’t even as much as offered a napkin. Instead, the staff appeared to find the situation amusing. The waiter literally laughed in her face and for the remainder of the evening, servers stared, laughed, and made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were deliberately being given poor service. I was worried because I read a lot of bad reviews along with excellent reviews, but our stay was excellent! Good food, but need more variety. Very clean, but some smell of mold due to humidity. Staff mostly was nice and helpful. We would return!

Beautiful property and grounds. Helpful staff upon arrival/leaving. Restaurant reservations were easily made by staff on arrival and had good selections and food was great. Staff outdoors was great. Housekeeping staff were extremely loud very early yelling "talking" each other in halls. Front door allowed a lot of light in and bring on top floor, everything was wet each morning so couldn't sit on chairs. Overall was a great holiday with most of the staff polite and helpful. Biggest disappointment was $40usd for a smaller spray bottle of sunscreen and I had bought 3 for the week. Bring your own in a checked bag. But I would recommend to others!!
