Nos entristece que la adaptación de algunos de los servicios nocturnos como lo son la Discoteca y el show acuerdo con la normativa actual y nuestra ocupación haya influenciado de forma negativa su estancia. Las medidas, que no sólo Barceló sino todos los establecimientos de servicios, están tomando están pensadas con el fin de ofrecer una experiencia segura y que al mismo tiempo los huéspedes puedan estar bien atendidos, no obstante tememos disponible algunos servicios como lo es el casino, entre otros que cumplen con la normativa actual. No dude que buscaremos las mejores alternativas a medida que la situación evolucione para que nuestros clientes estén completamente satisfechos. I was disappointed w/ my booking. My booking was to include a round of golf and room service. However, I was told this was not included after I had arrived at the resort. This is false advertising.

Love the hotel and all its amenities what i didn't like was their food!!!!! On the last day my kids and i got VERY sick from food we ate at the santa fe steak house restaurant. We spend 4 hours throwing up and with very bad diarrhea! I thought we would not make our flight since it was on the next day. But thank god i didnt feel good but able to get to my flight. When i got to the airport the people that work there told me that many people were stating they got sick from the food too and that all the people were from the barcelo bavaro resort only!!!! The food is really bad!!!!!!! As for the rest it was a very beautiful resort and i loved it minus the part of me getting sick!

It is important to address that we have an internal Quality Control Coordinator to ensure all Hygiene & Sanitary procedures are being met according to the company policies, which on a frequent basis audits our hotels in all Hygiene and Sanitary procedures. We can assure that our hotel is a safe and disease free complex; since we follow a very strict hygiene program and constant monitoring of all standards of quality in our Hotel having been recognized by Cristal America Consulting - Check Safety Group, for our effort and performance in hygienic and sanitary. En otro orden, permítame informarle que como empresa orientada al servicio, tenemos un fuerte compromiso para lograr la satisfacción de nuestros huéspedes. Por lo tanto, lamentamos su descontento con las medidas de distanciamiento social. Nos gustaría aclarar que nuestro hotel se ha adherido a todas aquellas medidas establecidas por las autoridades sanitarias para prevenir la propagación del Corona Virus, las cuales nos recomiendan no abrir discotecas o teatros por el momento. We changed rooms 4 times until they placed us in the proper room that was initially requested . We specifically asked for room closer to all the restaurants and pool because we had our mother in law with us who had difficulty walking . Front desk is clueless . If you have to do the covid test, good luck to you and bring a book to read for hours. I showed up one day and there were about 100 people in front of me . I figured I would be smart and went next day at 6 am hoping to get the first ticket number as I was with kids as well . No security was giving tickets and by the time the guard showed up at 8 there was complete disarray with 100-150 people all crammed in hallway. No organization no brains on their part . Worst experience ever. Spent about 4 hours waiting to actually take the covid test, rapid . They now charge 25$ for each person when it was 5$ for each person about a month ago . Complete fraud. Most of breakfast buffet is last nights uneaten dinner unless you’re getting eggs or croissants or fruit . Barely anyone speaks English at all . I have been at this resort 4 times now an f this has been by far the biggest disaster ever . The ocean was unswimmable as there was tons of seaweed until you went about 20 feet away from shore . Occasionally workers came and took most away on atvs. The water slides and pirate ship with wave pool which has been free forever, is now 10$ a day per person . For no absolute reason . Only edible restaurants, Mexican and hibachi.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience you had with to return the COVID test, we hope your understanding since we have a great demand of guests requesting the same service to be able to their country, however, it is an external company operating in our facilities, Regarding the price of covid tests, we are very sorry for your disappointment with this service, however I would like to inform you that this is because the laboratory does not always have the government-provided testing subsidy, which allows the laboratory copper only. $ 5US for the service, on the other hand, when these are over, the price returns to regular because the tests are offered directly by the laboratory, nevertheless we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We were very saddened to read your disappointment with the dining experiences, at Barceló we know that meals are an important aspect of our guests' overall holiday experience therefore we will make sure to take your comments into account to improve in this aspect of our services. In regards to the seaweed sorry that during your stay with us you found the bad weather, please note that although we make our beach clean-ups continues, this climatic phenomenon escapes from our hands. The hotel had plenty of amenities however, due to the pandemic the pools closed early and not all usual amenities were opened.
