The room was great! The cleaning staff kept everything spotless and helped us every day we stayed, Martha was the best with us! I’d say that at times, some of the servers at the buffet lacked a bit of attentiveness. It seemed like they didn’t really want to serve, and we felt the same with a few of the security staff. If you didn’t figure things out on your own, they didn’t seem willing to provide answers. However, the hotel itself is very nice!

Overall good stay. Staff was overall nice. Buffet selection was mediocre, but restaurants were good. The crapes on the beach were awesome along with the beach smoothie bar. Can’t complain for the deal we received for family of 4.

There is a persistent smell of sewage in the room and on the hotel grounds. The food is absolutely horrible I got poisoned with the hotel food. Never come here.

Rooms were in poor condition and dirty. Upon arrival asked front desk to have room cleaned, went 3 times and finally requested room change. Room was not cleaned daily and sheets not changed even once in the week of being there. Started to smell from all the humidity. Towels not given daily, one day had to call 3 times before they brought. Service slow and poor. Food though was excellent, but could use more meat options.

The majority of the staff is rude and appear to be bothered by any of your requests. They have an annoyed or apathetic look the majority of the time. The second most annoying thing about this place is the ability to get pool/beach towels. You need to get up early and get them or else they’re gone. This was everyday of the five days we were there. The buffet food is average, but restaurant food is great. The rooms are not cleaned to the standard of a Marriott but better than a motel 6. Again, the towels for bedrooms are also hard to get. The lines to get drinks are average to long. Crepes are amazing but can be long waits. Pizza and sandwich stations are above average in taste and not as long of a wait. The entertainment they put on for the kids and adults is really good. They really put in effort towards that.

We just come back from Catalonia . And we stay at privilege room the room was so disgusting all dirty mold everywhere small so bad, we want to lobby spoke with manager they change the room, but still it was not OK. The food was ok not complaining you can fine always something you like . Stuff sometimes was not happy they have to help you are do something. And we want big group of people so we a join. But this resort is not 5 starts that is showing in website.

The property hast 4 specialty restaurants but they limit the amount of reservations you can make based on the number of nights you are staying. We upgraded our room, which was nice, however, there were not enough towels nor showering gel upon arrival. One of the double sinks was leaking so we decided not to use it. Top this up with a “commercial presentation” that you are not informed about it being a commercial presentation until you are already there. They schedule you for a “special breakfast” to talk to you about the benefits you get with the upgraded room, once we were dropped off at the location is when the guy indicated it was a commercial presentation (we already knew based on how much they were pushing it). The hotel is very pretty but I doubt we would return.

⭐ 1 Star — If I could give zero, I would. This resort is absolutely unacceptable. It is not suitable for pets, yet there were dogs and cats roaming freely across the property — including cats inside the dining areas. Completely unsanitary. From the moment we checked in, the experience was terrible. Our first room was filthy — dirty sheets, an unclean floor, and a toilet so stained it looked like it had never been sanitized. When we called the front desk, we were given the runaround and refused a room change. We had to drag all our luggage to the lobby and demand a supervisor just to be moved. The second room wasn’t much better. There were hairs on the bed, forcing us to disinfect the room ourselves with Lysol. The room had only two washcloths for four guests, and despite calling the front desk, we didn’t receive more until the next day. The housekeeper who came had a terrible attitude. On top of everything, I got food poisoning from the buffet and experienced vomiting and diarrhea. When I called for help, the front desk acted annoyed and offered no support whatsoever. Days later, I am still sick. To make matters even worse, there was no running water on the property — no way to shower, brush our teeth, or flush the toilets. Every time we reported issues, we were dismissed. This has been the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I will never return and I do not recommend this property to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that values cleanliness, safety, and custo
