Everything about this resort was exquisite. The staff, the room, the food, the BEACH! I have only wonderful things to say about our week here in December 2025. There was a learning curve to ordering food here as portions were small and kind of tricky to anticipate (app vs main). But that just meant we could try even more amazing food and 0 went to waste. So ultimately a win-win!!

We stayed October 27-Nov 1st. Rust coming out the faucet in the Jacuzzi...metal in my food at the restaurant....man showed up in the middle of the day to clean my pool...unannounced while i was in my room trying to relax. I was offered a meal in the premier restaurant and when i showed up, i was interrogated by the staff for 20 minutes....needless to say we didn't eat there. Awful experience. Go to the Royalton....much better treatment.

While the pool area is pleasant, it feels somewhat small for a hotel of this size. The palapas are positioned quite close together, which limits privacy for guests. It would also improve the experience if pool rules were more consistently enforced, as items such as external speakers and large floatation devices can be disruptive. Additionally, the pool towels appear worn and may benefit from being refreshed or replaced.

It was a very busy time during our “stay” we were supposed to be there for 4 nights but ended up checking out after the first night. They were 98% booked. The only night we stayed and tried to find a place to eat we had 22! tables ahead of us. No room upgrade was available, even though we had garden view club level we couldn’t find a single available bed at the beach next morning. Think about it - not one place to stay at the beach when you are on beach vacation. Be prepared to walk a lot, and I mean a lot. Bed was very uncomfortable. Stuff is not helpful. The only good thing I can say about the resort is it’s very beautiful and well kept and smells great at different lobbies, but it doesn’t help when you can’t sleep comfortably, eat at decent hour or find space at the beach.
