The worst vacation ever! I dont ever write reviews but this one was a MUST! I was extremely embarrassed because I chose this resort as a surprise for my fiance to enjoy his bday but with all the inconvenience we experienced it was impossible to. First off the food there is horrible! It was always cold, bland or overcooked. Even the Ala carte restaurants was bad. The queso for the chips was cold and watery, the burgers was soggy, just disgusting! Our room had many issues that was never resolved from when we first arrived and we stayed 5 nights and 6 days. I wish it was only 3! The tub was clogged so the water would go down the drain very slowly while taking a shower. The TV barely worked, the room phone did not work. We had problems with our room key and had to get someone to let us in because the card just wouldn't function and for no reason because we did not damage the card. Everything at the resort is driving distance basically so if you need something from the lobby or want to go to the pool, beach etc, you need a ride and the workers don't come around to drive you as often as needed. You will find yourself waiting at least 15 minutes for someone to be available to take you to the lobby. There is no room service which was insane! So God forbid you desperately need water you won't be able to get it unless you go directly to the lobby yourself or ask the room keeper that's there in the mornings. No one really spoke English. Only the bell guys. Frank was one that was helpful

The property was amazing overall. It was well kept, maintained, and clean in the rooms and the whole property. Did not have a problem with anything other than a power outage that may have been caused by the rain or lightning but they were able to get the power on right away. Also, a light fell from the bathroom but they fixed right away. Even with the minor inconveniences, I would give 5 out of 5 stars.

the rooms and bathrooms need more maintenance in the room and bathroom there were few towels the refrigerator does not cool anything the food the same little variety and birds had a bad smell in the buffet restaurants
