It took forever to get to the room with a maze of stairs, hallways and elevators, I am not sure how an elderly person can do all this walking. I am not that old and ended up having foot sores on my feet from so much walking. I tried calling the front reception just to find out our phones were not working so I had to walk back through the maze to the front just to be told there are no more rooms available and to come back In the morning to talk to the supervisor. After we got settled into our new room, the safe was not working, and our power went out 2x times throughout the week where we had to call in for electrician service. Our TV was also not working. We are a family of 3 with a 10 year old boy. You advertise a big open beach, but when we got there it was marked off with a rope and boats were all over the place very close so basically we are swimming in dirty water full of boat gas. The hotel is beautiful but poorly managed, had nothing to do at night or during the day. The "Kids" club was empty the teens club he was not allowed in since its 12+. How can a hotel this size and for the money we pay have such bad management? There were clearly places for entertainment which were empty. As for the cherry on top on Tuesday I got food poisoning and had a fever tuesday, wednesday and thurday. My husband could not find the most basic chicken soup and bring to my room as they don't allow you to take the kitchen dishes anywhere. There was no chicken soup.

There was plenty of chairs to lounge in bye the pool and on the beach. The resort is much bigger in person than I expected , the food was good and the drinks were great! We’re just mad that we didn’t stay an extra day or 2 so that we could enjoy all the amenities!

All the staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. I love that everything was on the resort app. It was so easy to make reservations for the specialty restaurants. My favorites were the hibachi and Italian.

El hotel es muy hermoso, la comida es variada sin embargo con poca calidad es muy mala, los empleados son de lo peor empezando en el check in quien nos atendió nos hizo el check in incompleto tuvo que venir otra a terminarlo porque ni el número de habitación nos dio el anterior, así mismo los dejas empleados del bar y restaurantes tratan a uno horrible y son muy maleducados no tienen servicio.

Everything was cleaned, safe and fantastic stuff service. The only thing that i was not happy about was the beach being in a kind of a bay area. Not much weaves at the beach. We will come back in the near future. Highly recommended for all !

Pool and beach area were beautiful. Grounds are pretty especially at night. Water park was good for kids. Asian and Italian restaurant was the best. Couldn’t eat at steakhouse with kids. You have to pay for bowling. Room and view was nice.

I give it 3 starts because the property had a few issues, the A/C in the room was not working properly, not even in my friend’s rooms. The food Was good, 8/10.. the buffet was not open for dinner most of the days, Club only opened Fri-Sun, so every night was boring. I liked the show on the beach. The room was always clean, and it looks beautiful. The pool is big, but if you want to use the other pools are only for UNIQUE guests.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. I read reviews that said the AC was lacking. I did not find this to be the case. Our room was always cold. Our children are grown but the Water Park looked like a blast and great place for kids, The dining and food was top notch. Drinks were abundant and well made. I did like that they always asked if you wanted alcohol in your frozen drinks or non alcoholic. Of course, ours were always full of alcohol. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The maid service was wonderful and always left extra towels and waters. My only negative and please understand that I am 60 yrs old with really bad knees that need to be replaced. This is a very large property and if you want to travel the boulevard to experience all the things that the Lopesan has to offer, there is quite a bit of walking. Also, bars and other places of interest on the boulevard do not open until 6pm. Overall the Lopesan Resort is above and beyond the cost you pay. It is a must visit next time your in Punta Cana.
