Very large property with great ocean views. It is clean and rooms are spacious with a lovely balcony. Rooms can be damp from humidity; ours was less damp from running a fan we brought to run while sleeping. Numerous bar locations and restaurants with quick and efficient service. Service from bartenders can be a little slow, but they accommodate what you need and ask for when serving you. Overall great beach and hotel stay with activities, cuisine, and nightlife. Foam party was a blast for the kids, and karaoke was a hit with us adults!

My stay at lopesan was over all good. The hotel itself was amazing. The food was good including the restaurant. Had an inconvenient situation where the room was upgraded and they promised all the amenities. However, that was not the case. I came back to change bracelets and they would not change it. According to them it was only a room upgrade. To their convenience of course. There was a couple weddings and they wanted to keep them all together which is why they offered me the room change. Aside from that I really can’t complain of anything. We had a good time.

The pool was wonderful. The activities are sub par. The Valley restaurant was terrible. The best parts of this resort was the check-in, the bellhops and the spa.

Great hotel, well organized. Food really good, we tried all the restaurants ( be careful if any allergies, make sure you tell everyone multiple times), all were good. Pool and beach are amazing. The boulevard is very nice. People need to pay a little more attention, but thats not a big concern.

Our room had a broken shower head. It also had a broken drying rack that was out of the wall on the balcony. We waited over 2 hours to check-in. Room was not ready at 3pm as stated. Check-in line was very, very long. They have to do a better job with their check-in system.

Rating: 7.5/10 Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino is aesthetically pleasing and very modern-looking. The property itself is beautiful and well designed. However, our experience started off poorly. We arrived around 4:30 PM on the first day and were told they did not have gas, so no freshly cooked food was available. The only options were Caesar salad, boiled leftover wings, and nachos with canned meat. Unfortunately, the food was unpleasant and not what you’d expect from a high-end all-inclusive resort. Overall, the food and service were very mediocre. The buffet was especially disappointing and bland, lacking flavor, and honestly hard to eat. Some of the meat even had a slight smell, which made it very unappetizing. It felt like eating while sick. No real taste or enjoyment. The à la carte restaurants that require reservations were noticeably better, and the food there actually tasted good. The downside is that it was extremely difficult to get reservations, which made it frustrating. Service was another letdown. Many staff members came across as unwelcoming and often had an attitude. There was very little guidance or information provided about activities or amenities. We had to figure most things out on our own. In summary, while the resort looks great and has potential, the food quality, service, and overall guest experience fell short of expectations
