This villa was brilliant for what we needed. Set on the golf course it’s really peaceful and you hear the nativa birds. As it’s on the golf course you can easily go for a walk on the golf course which is stunning. We used the golf buggy which was fantastic, a few minutes drive to the beach and you are at the private beach with Kukua bar and restaurant which we were at often. We did walk to the beach, probably 15- 20 minutes but was a slow stroll. Our kids would’ve been able to walk it but they may have been complaining so the golf buggy was perfect. We got lots of uber deliveries from the supermarket which kept the necessities topped up. The host Phil, was brilliant, he always responded quickly and was very helpful, he arranged both taxis to and from the airport for us so we just walked out the airport and our man was waiting for us. Junior was also great, the fridge started showing an error message and he quickly sorted it. He also advised us on good places to eat and said he’d sort any trips we wanted and gave us details for Angel. Angel was an Angel, he provided taxi services to us throughout our time there and was fantastic, he’d wait at the location until we were finished and pick us up as close as he could. Everyone we met were very lovely friendly people. The villa is very spacious and the pool was cleaned and checked daily. We really enjoyed it and we would definitely return. Just need to start saving money so we can go again.

The house could best be described as a 1970’s museum. Apparently the pictures were taken some time ago. I had several phone conversations with the owner prior to finalizing our reservation. One thing that was very important to us is that there is an outside grill. When got there and found out there wasn’t one. When I txted the owner he responded that there was one there at some time in the past. I ended up buying a grill and left it at the property. There were four pool chairs. Three were cheap plastic ones and one decent one. I ask if there were any cushions for the chairs and was told no and to use a towel.The outdoor furniture in the pavilion had no cushions and were hard resin and impossible to sit on without them.The AC unit in one of the bedrooms was inoperable.The kitchen needs a complete renovation. At the least the drawers should be repaired. All the dish ware and utensils need to be replaced. The coffee / express machine is ancient and broken. The refrigerator is rusted and leaks.The beach club and only access to the beach seems to be a very popular wedding venue. Every day we were there, save for one, we had to leave at 2:00 PM. Since the surrounding beaches were all private we had no other access to the beach. This is a major consideration for anyone that rents this property. We had the property rented for sixteen days. We rescheduled our flights and left after eight days.

The house was a bit run-down, and the A/C in the master suite did not work. The owner was aware of this issue before we arrived and did not arrange for it to be repaired.Overall, the house was a bit rundown, or at least in need of an update.There were no TVs in the entire house, so no family movie nights. No house book with information, but there was a person to call if there were any issues, and he was very responsive

The stay and pool was nice. No complaints. The house manager Junior was very helpful with all our needs. He even hired 2 dominican cooks for us (per my request). The food was good. On the last night the front gate wouldn't allow us in, however we called Junior, and he spoke with them and they allowed us in. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the villa for 4 nights and appreciated the early check-in — that was a thoughtful touch. The villa was spacious and comfortably accommodated everyone in our group. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made coordination smooth.That said, the property came with minimal supplies; we had to purchase basics like toilet paper and garbage bags. It also would have been helpful to know upfront that daily cleaning is optional and incurs an extra daily fee. Clearer communication around amenities and services would enhance the overall experience.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the space and hospitality.

Great place to stay with multi generational family.

Junior was terrific and very helpful. When there were no cars at the airport (even though we had reservations) he helped us out. Our cook was wonderful with delicious meals. Loved having fresh coconuts delivered from our yard daily and opened for us. Room layout was wonderful for all our family.

Comfortable Place

We did a family vacation with our kids and grandkids and had a great time! Check in was a breeze as Junior met us at the house and walked us through the property. He was also available to answer any questions we had. We had an issue with and air conditioner and he had it fixed it the next day. We only had two golfers with us and they played twice during the week and really enjoyed the course. The pool and property was well maintained and was key with the grandkids. We rented the golf cart and was great for the trips back and forth to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the Beach Club and recommend the food. Nelson was awesome! The house was very comfortable for our group.

Amazing!

The villa is beautiful and the property owner (Phil) and manager (Junior) went out of their way in every respect. Johnny, who maintained the pool daily, kept the ice replenished for our blended cocktails and showed up once with fresh coconuts that he opened up for us. The beds were incredibly comfortable. A late check out was accommodated without any difficulty. We will definitely return. We recommend renting a car in order to get groceries and a golf cart to get to the beach and restaurants. Thank you Phil!!!

A Birthday to Remembrr

Let me start by saying that I was planning on giving it 5 out of 5 stars because this is the 3rd time I’ve use VRBO, and the only trip completed …. As a host… others on this site could learn a lot from you … The property I gave 4 out of 5 and that was only because it was a bit chilly and the heat wasn’t working in the hot tub but I had no other issues .. Everything was as you stated it would be and if I can add … don’t change the house too much …. I really liked all the wood and the authentic look of the home it had a good balance of old and new and a charm that one should expect when traveling to DR. The services and Junior …. If I could give higher than a 5 I would ….. Junior really came through for us when the only Spanish speaking person bailed out he stepped in and help get us access to services to make my friends birthday memorable …. He got us in touch with a company that was able to provide decorations and make-up for a nice photoshoot …. Junior if you see this review THANK YOU again and please send Charlene and Chantel our love for all they did to help …. I truly forgot the name of the company was it Make it Happen or something like that, but they got something good and should continue. Future Guests- you can expect is an attentive staff and clean and welcoming home for your vacation, Junior at your service and a Host -with the most Phil. Suggestions:get the golf cart enjoy drinks on the private beach/do have the cook prepare an authentic meal Enjoy!

Perfect party house

We were four friends in the age range 45-55, the house is quite spacious , with pool and hot tub . The host Phil and caretaker Junior are very very co operative and helpful and guided us with all the things that we should be doing , recommending us the right things , House is in centre of a golf Course in gated community so it’s quite safe , beach is about 5 mins golf cart ride , airport is about 30 mins In nut shell if I’m going back to Punta Cana this the place I will stay and also highly recommend.

This Villa is located inside The Punta Blanca Golf and Beach Resort in Bavaro. 20 minutes from the airport. It's SUPER Private. Located on the 18th hole of the golf course. Super Clean. We had the maids clean for us everyday which was great. We had the best time ever. Private Beach with restaurant. Great Food! Dealing with Phil (the owner) was amazing! We love it so much, that we have already booked for the Spring of 2024. Highly recommended. Thank you Phil !!

DEFINITELY BOOKING AGAIN NEXT YEAR!!

Our stay at Mr. Chianetta's villa in Bavaro/Punta Cana exceeded all of our expectations and provided us with an unforgettable vacation. First and foremost, the house itself was absolutely perfect. It was spacious, well-designed, and provided us with all the amenities we could have asked for. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the common areas were perfect for spending quality time with my family. The villa is very private, allowing us to relax and enjoy our vacation without any disturbances. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful beach...we spent hours lounging on the beach, swimming in the ocean, and soaking up the sun. Another standout was the personal chef (Andre). The meals prepared by Andre were absolutely delicious and of the highest quality. We were treated to a variety of local dishes, all expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Andre definitely elevated our vacation experience. Additionally, we cannot praise Junior, our private driver, enough. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, always there to assist us and guide us throughout our stay. Junior went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. Overall...We highly recommend Mr. Chianetta's villa to anyone looking for a memorable and luxurious vacation in the Dominican Republic...Make sure to get the personal chef and private driver!!

Girl’s Trip Done Right

I have used VRBO on numerous occasions and I was impressed with how quickly Phillip responded to my questions. I was also impressed with the assistance that we received from Junior. This was our first stay in DR and we are planning to book this property again.

Wonderful 4 days at Punta Cana

Amazing place far away from turistic crowd. If you want to just to relax enjoy private and secure stay. Property is on the Punta Blanca golf course ,The rooms are spacious, place is well-kept and the pool was nice. The beach is only 3 min away and we really loved just hanging out , Most of the restaurants and the courses were close proximity. Phil & Junior are great hosts , they provided us with all the local information and was very helpful . Without a doubt we would go back to Phil's villa and would strongly recommend to friends. thanks

Let me first say the owner was very helpful throughout the booking process. Once we arrived at the property we immediately noticed it was a older home of the beaten path. Nonetheless the group embraced our decision book the home and make the best out of the situation. Multiple issues: poor lighting throughout the home very dark especially in the kitchen, living, dining and pool area. No TV's in the house(False Advertising), Poor internet, No Grill(False Advertising), and many other things household items missing! Overall the rating is too high! At best this home is a 2 stars!!!

Overall - property was great. Privacy was incredible. There are a few things mentioned in the ad/pictures that are not in the house - a grill and televisions specifically - but we did not miss the televisions. Pool was cleaned every morning. The property was well secured and the person who runs the property while owner is not there was very helpful and accommodating.

The communication was great with the property owner they were extremely helpful. However the property wasn’t kept in good condition. I think this property can be maintained better for guests the pots and pans were put away without being properly washed, we couldn’t find trash bags to put our trash in or dishwasher detergent to run a load, towels were worn out with bleach stains and laundry room was a bit of a mess. This is a great property if you don’t plan on cooking, and your bring your own towels. They will communicate with you and help you navigate the country to give you an unforgettable experience.
