All the staff was eager to please. Food in all restaurants was very good. Maintenance though is very poor. Checking into a 5 Star Resort that is 10yrs old should be in better shape. Rooms definitely don’t get checked bevor check in and take 4 days to be addressed only, after an initial review . We were offered to move rooms then but after half of our stay who wants to pack everything up?

This was my first time in the Dominican, The Majestic Mirage was literally the BEST all inclusive resort I have EVER been to! The property was absolutely Gorgouse, the food was So Amazing and the Staff were some of the nicest people I have every met. I highly recommend this place! I cant wait to get back there, planning a trip this May!

Room was a little dirty but the staff and amenities were great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the resort as a whole was beautiful. They have plenty to do with different events everyday. Japanese restaurant and the steakhouse was really good but most other food was not the greatest. All around solid resort and would recommend.

Very nice place. Most restaurants were good. Good entertainment. Beaches were nice. Only thing was the private hot tubs were not elderly/wheelchair accessible. No had rails to ge tin or out. My friend almost was stuck there. And anyone from the beach could walk into the hotel. A bit concerning.

This place is marvelous! We vacationed for my husband’s birthday and absolutely loved it! Our butler, Alvaro, was fantastic! He took great care of us and did so much to make our stay unforgettable. We will definitely request him as our butler next time. The resort is very clean and has everything you need - the beach is beautiful, food and drinks are plentiful and delicious, and the pool is pristine. In the evenings there is live music in the plaza, followed by a show in the theater. Both make for a delightful evening. We booked a swim-up suite, which we loved. We spent a lot of time in the Bali bed sipping a Majestic - their signature drink - which is delectable. A few steps away was Rafi in the Banana bar, who was great fun and make tasty drinks. We went to the Japanese restaurant for my husband’s birthday dinner and had a marvelous experience. The food was delicious and they made his dinner very special. We had a couples massage at the spa and it was just excellent! Israel gave me the best massage I’ve ever received. We will definitely do that again. The buffet always had something good, the Seaside is nice for breakfast and lunch, and we enjoyed the sports bar in the evening because they allow you to eat outside in the plaza and listen to the music. Ismael in the lobby bar is very sweet and made us Mama Juana. Try one when you visit. We will be talking about this vacation for a long time and are already planning to return next year. We loved it!

With a little work, the resort could be great. However, we had an issue with service multiple times, like some of the staff just did t want to be bothered. We also had a problem with food coming out cold (that was supposed to be hot). We’re actually surprised that the resort has such high review s (we’ve staid at multiple Secrets locations and they are so far above this resort for the same price).

The PROS: - Friendly staffs - Beautiful and clean - Spacious Family suite and the small pool area with the jacuzzi - Several restaurants and options - Alcoholic drinks - Dinner at Steakhouse - serving sizes are small, we ordered 2 entrees per person. We enjoyed the short ribs. - Breakfast at Seaside restaurant - especially the eggs' station. - Quiet area The CONS: - food at the Marketplace - food was either too dry/overcooked and lacked flavors - Sushi was terrible - Ice cream - Coffee - Seaweed at the beach: we noticed that other resorts' beachfronts were cleaner. - Lack of entertainments - Musty smell in the suite room - dehumidifier in the room would help - No sparkling water - Outside excursions: overpriced and underwhelming Overall, the property was safe, quiet, clean and comfortable. However, we did not enjoy the food, coffee and entertainment. We would not recommend to our friends/family and would not return, But, if you enjoy a quiet area and poor food, this resort is for you.
