This property was not quite for me. I did not like that the beach was not in close proximity. The wait for a golf cart could be long during busy times and there were not a lot of food options at the only restaurant at the beach. I love the beach and prefer to be within walking distance. We had an issue with our original room, but that was taken care of the next day and everything was great. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Angel always seemed to be there with a smile when we needed assistance.

This place is absolutely beautiful, staff is amazing and so attentive. But, the food was horrible. Otherwise great resort that offers plenty of fun with pools and beautiful beaches.

Midway in our week's stay (a group of 17 persons comprising family and friends), the hotel without any notice closed the only buffet dining room (where we had all of our meals) because we later learnt that it had guests arriving that needed Kosher facilities. All the other guests at the hotel including ourselves were relegated to a very small dark room for our meals. Yoga was no longer available to us - it was reserved for those guests requiring kosher services. We were denied services for which we had paid handsomely. We had swim up rooms which shared a private pool but once the new guests arrived, they were allowed to use it as a main pool although they did not have swim up rooms. Management was totally unapologetic. Our 5 year old granddaughter fell through the obstacle course in the main pool and although there were lifeguards around, they were not even aware and it was only when her mother realized that the child was drowning and dove in to save her that the lifeguards became aware of the situation. Management and the lifeguards showed no interest in the near drowning. The hotel is under new management as of a week ago. In our opinion it is not a 5 star hotel (1-2 stars maximum). Many guests we spoke to told us that they were very disappointed with the experience and were trying to shorten their vacation. An overall very bad experience. Based on our experience, we advise that you stay away from this hotel. It is overpriced with very poor services and food.
