Everyone was great! It was beautiful. The concierge Adoni decorated my room for my husband birthday!!! Anthony the Butler got his birthday cake, delicious!! In the Diamond Club they treat you like you matter. The food in the Diamond Club Lounge was NOT good though. A kiss to the Pastry Chefs ..Every cake was soooo moist and delicious, just SUPERB.

The grounds were clean!! The pools were clean!! The bar tenders were mostly friendly and attentive. Room service was great!! The restaurants were all good. The main buffets were mediocre but did the trick. Communication was amazing. We had a concierge through Expedia names Andoni who went above and beyond to make this a stressful trip. He made all of our reservations for meals and arranged transportation to go downtown. We had a really hard time getting coffee for our room but the coffee shop was great!!! It felt safe and inviting for all of us!!!

The room was good some little stains and one of our lounge chairs had bird poop all over it but overall clean and comfortable. The resort itself was great. Pools were clean and accommodations were met. Staff was friendly I guess my only complaint was the selection of food some days were not tasty or were made improperly and tasted stale but I guess that’s apart of free ammenities. Overall our stay was enjoyable and the kids had lots of fun!

The Diamond Club VIP package is a rip off don’t waste your money. Other than the tiny little diamond club lounge every other Diamond club part of the hotel was a free for all. Our flight was delayed and we missed a full day of our 1 week vacation which we were not compensated for or even acknowledged when we asked if we could maybe extend 1 more day to make up for it. Upon our late arrival (which I called the day we were delayed and let them know we would check in the next day when we arrived) we had to wait for 3.5hrs in the lobby for them to ready our rooms that we should’ve been in the day before. Then they escorted us to our room and had not even activated our room keys so the butler let us in. Though the resort itself and beach was nice with lots of activities to do (most activities you will likely pay extra for) we felt like we were ripped off for the money we paid to be there. I would not recommend this resort.

Our family had a great time! Everyone was very friendly and willing to help make the stay comfortable. The food and drinks were good. Two things I feel need work include the overall cleanliness and also the check in process.

Room was not what we requested and paid for. Our flights were delayed and we had to arrive the following day. Provided hotel with plenty of notice but when we arrived at the resort we had to wait 5 hrs to get in our room which was 5:15pm. Totally unacceptable especially when we paid for the room the day prior to arrival. The initial staff and butler were very rude and terrible service. Our butler service was absolutely a waste of money. He did not one thing for us and had an awful attitude. Will not be going to this resort again. The rest of the staff was very accommodating and helpful. That includes room service, cooks, and cleaners.

Luego de 4 a 5 horas esperando en el lobby para hacer check in sin ninguna explicacion, al final nos venimos a enterar que supuestamente sobre vendieron las habitaciones, ocasionando que no hubiesen habitaciones disponibles. Para colmo Frontier nos habia atrasado el vuelo por 5 horas y llegamos super cansados a Republica para encontrarnos con este panorama, en resumen el dia fue completamente perdido y frustrante. Luego nos hicieron un "upgrade" de habitacion, sin embargo uno se queda con el mal sabor de la experiencia, la cual es dificil procesar aunque te den otra habitacion, pues lamentablemente esa primera impresion siempre es la que cuenta y por mas que intentes el "borron y cuenta nueva", queda la estela del suceso. La actividad nocturna muy pobre, no habian cervezas Presidente, la cual es la cerveza autoctona de su pais, a cambio solo tenian las cervezas Canita, que son practicamente agua..por lo que entendimos que estan abaratando costos. La comida estuvo regular. Por otra parte tengo que validar que los empleados fueron muy amables y atentos y las facilidades del hotel muy bonitas.

The check in process here is long!! I stood online for 45 mins before someone helped me. Mind you there were only 3 family’s before me. The Food is horrible. The only food we enjoyed was from the food truck at the pool. My in law got locked in the toilet because the wooden sliding door is so darn heavy and the locked at flimsy. The staff is very nice, expect at the front desk!! They disappear in the middle of your check in process without telling you where they are going. The surf pool was great but I wouldn’t stay here ever again! Nor at another Royalton property, it’s not worst the money.

The property, staff, rooms, and culinary choices were all exceptional. Ramon, our butler/guest concierge, was absolutely outstanding. We were so impressed that we’ve already rebooked! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Check in was terrible, specially the staff at the check in counter. 5 hours to give us our room, and no solutions or answers, when we finally got the room, it had several problemas. Leaks Near the shower, minibar not connected, no toiletries, mildew smell. After complaining about the room to several People only one concierge helped us, Stalin. He change our room and hopefully Will help us get that first night refund.

Before I start--our butler Adoni was incredible. He did everything in his power to cater to us, serve us, and get us what we needed. He is an amazing employee and has so much talent. As for the resort, I'll keep it brief: -- the family room guest bed is an uncomfortable pull out couch that's tiny, hard, and insulting. Most family rooms offer bunk beds, cots, etc. -- the food was not great. I was sick most of the trip from it -- the coffee at the café tastes like something from a gas station. It's sour, has no flavor, no body, and tastes like it's been sitting out for hours and they reuse the espresso pods multiple times. --flies are all over the food and dining areas at the buffet. -- there's no fresh juice station like surrounding resorts -- the staff overall just seem miserable and apathetic. The hospitality isn't there. It's not worth what they charge. -- staff aggressively try and sell you on packages and items when you're walking around. It feels like you're in an open air market. --pillows weren't good at all. -- I'm completely bilingual so it was not a language barrier issue. -- it's definitely not a family resort as there were no activities offered for kids, the kids club was a daycare, basketball nets weren't working, sports balls and equipment weren't available for use, and staff goes out of their way to remind you to have your kids within 3ft of you at all times. --if you're gonna pay $350+/ night--look elsewhere.
