Gracie restaurant is the best then Zen however be prepare to get up at 7am to get reservations for Zen the day of and if you don’t finish eating within the allotted time they will ask you to move. Steaks at Hunter are very fatty. The service at Rio is non-Existent. Front desk is very helpful so are the bell hops. The drinks are very watered down compared to other DR resorts we have visited. Seemed like all staff was expecting a tip for everything again at other all exclusive resorts this was NOT the case.

When we checked in I had booked two queens and was given a king bed. The sold out the queens though we reserved one. The following day I had to change rooms. Booking reservations at the restaurants is damn near imposible unless you wake up at 7:15-7:30 and begin making the line for the reservations. Not all restaurants are open everyday. No alcohol is in the mini fridge (unless you are diamond club). It’s a very large property so everything is a moderate walk away. We were in the middle of the property so the beach was equally as distant from the lobby. FLOWRIDER is not included it is additional it’s not expensive ($15 for 15 min). Shows are decent and live music is also. Something that is kind of annoying was the strobing fire light in room while you sleep. Other the these details that to me are important, we had a great time.

The actual property itself was really nice! The bad part was the room smelled like mold and it was full of bugs. I complained and was promised a new room but was never moved. The staff speaks minimal to no English so it was very hard trying to communicate with them I will NOT go back!

Regarding your comment about the room, let us emphasize that due to our tropical climate and being a property facing the sea, humidity levels are high. Therefore, we recommend our guests to keep the air conditioner turned on and the balcony door closed. Regardless of this, our housekeeping department does its best effort to deliver all rooms scented, fresh and pleasant. The health and safety of our guests is our main priority and we comply with the highest standards regarding pest control in our establishment, which is strictly controlled by our hygiene and safety officers on a daily basis. Our collaborators are committed to attending our multi-language classes to provide trained staff to our visitors. However, please accept our apologies for the communication difficulties. We truly regret that you have chosen not to return to Royalton Bavaro, but should you change your mind, I would like to personally assure you that I will make sure that you will have an amazing holiday experience. The atmosphere and property was well maintained, staff was very polite and friendly. The food at the restaurants were ok. You better off eating at the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Wished the recreational area for the kids and teens was much bigger, space is limited and became overcrowded. Pools close at 6 kids became bored easily. Wished they had an arcade or bowling alley for nighttime fun with the kids. My only disappointment was the smell of the rooms. There was so much humidity in our room it gave the room a moldy smell. We requested a room change and the hotel did comply.The new room smelled about the same so we just dealt with it. Maybe a humidifier would had made a difference. It’s my third time in Punta Cana and the other hotels had the same issue. It’s definitely the area and not so much the hotel. Overall we had a great time, met some great and helpful people like Claritza “Mini Cooper” and Erickson.

Gorgeous property that’s well laid out. Swim out suites are definitely worth it. Buffets were not that great but the restaurants were fabulous.

Amazing! We knew from the first hour we arrived it was going to be a great stay! If there are any bad reviews it must be a very rare reason! The Royalton Bravaro was beautiful, very clean, amazing staff, great English: no language barrier! Lazy river, flowrider! If your looking to stay here! Just book it and in my opinion you will not regret it! Enjoy!

Beautiful room and view. Maids missed some cleaning of liquids that were spilled on the wall. Hotel staff was friendly but could have spoken more bilingual. Made trying to communicate needs a bit difficult.

Hotel is excellent. All the top shelf alcohol you want. Bartenders are super friendly. Most of the food was average to good. Room service was prompt and the order was always correct and delivered quickly. Beach is very clean. Would highly recommend this hotel.
