Hotel was nice, food was good, staff was not friendly. Had a handful of friendly workers, not just our experience, was talked about by other guests as well. Very pushy to get you to sign up to for timeshare sales pitch. Restaurants reservations were very limited when booking, yet each restaurant was 25-30% full. Room service was not available unless you booked the day before. 24 hour room service was not available most time frames, due to reservations times all being booked just liked he dinners.

I loved everything about our stay except the beach was full of seaweed. Which was out of the resorts control. We had the Diamond Club upgrade and its well worth it!

Went with my family all of our rooms had mold everywhere inside and outside, we all stayed in different buildings. We complained to the staff about it nothing was done. making dinner reservations was pointless because we would wait 30+ min to be sat regardless. some staff was friendly others were not.

Except for the efforts of the staff the hotel fails in any other aspect: dirty rooms and blankets, very noisy, poison food with no refrigeration (air condition was shut down for a couple of days in all restaurants) and being a “family” hotel, grotesque scenes with drunk people. Awful experience.

We visited this resort 3 years ago in August 2022. We wanted to go again and booked our family vacation for Aug 2025. we noticed the property is not maintained as it should be. Spa was not a be good experience Had to go back to the reception 3 times to reprogram the room keys Carts are not available for pick up and drop of when needed No one inflatable floats available for the lazy river, this is not advertised and you are forced to buy floats from the resort which are very expensive The food was very good, however, they had limited supply of certain items and if you go late to the buffet you can’t find everything

The property was misrepresented the room smelled of mold it was several visible repairs to the ceiling and walls throughout the room even after being moved to a new room it was also dated moldy smelling with visible repairs to the ceiling and walls the swim out was dirty and dated even had a soiled dirty pamper. also we were told we HAD ! to do a timeshare presentation because we were Expedia guest the rep took over 90 plus mins of our time did not have a unit to show what we were purchasing and got upset and sarcastic when we declined to purchase I’ve stayed at Royalton in the past and this stay was no where near the stellar Royalton experience I’ve had in Jamaica or Mexico I was also scouting this property for a large group function I have coming up let’s just stay no way no how could I bring my family or my guest to this property it ruined my vacation ! I’m a business owner I work hard and I was looking forward to this trip to top it all off the morning I was leaving to the airport I went to take a shower and it was a huge ROACH !! in the shower . I’ve never been so happy to be home in my own clean home and so disappointed that I spent thousands to experience a 2 star motel in paradise. I have videos and pictures of this I will be reporting to Expedia and to the property directly ! Clean this place UP! And bomb it out so roaches will not vacation with the guest !!
