Not a 5 star hotel, it lacked in service and accommodations. No A/C in any of the restaurants or buffets areas or hallways, pool did not open until 10am and closed at 6p, not friendly servers if they heard you speak in “an accent “ from countries that don’t tip or don’t tip enough, they would not come back to refill water or offer you another drink. The TV in the room did not work and we waited 4 hours for maintenance, housekeeping had to be ordered through the App and dinner reservations, but the app didn’t work so we kept getting delayed until we couldn’t make reservations for the restaurants. Steak restaurant was closed on Saturday, and limited options in buffet restaurant where food was mushy/soft due to the no A/C.

The property itself was nice but the service was not. It was slow to check in, slow for room service, slow at the restaurants. The food for the Italian night theme’s food was SO salty!! I ordered risotto and the rice was not cooked at all, super grainy and extra salty. The beach was dirty and smelled horrible like sulfur or chicken coops from the seaweed. The buffets did not have a variety of food at all and had the same dishes from station to station. For the amount we paid, it was not worth it. We had a group of 12 people and made the best of it though. The bartenders seemed to be the kindest and most accommodating. Everything else just took way too long. It also was an annoyance with all the hagglers on the beach. We realized it was a public beach from a certain point bc there were resort securities watching. It’ll most likely be our first and last time in Punta Cana.

Very quiet. Can't play music by the pool except you are at the main pool. We stayed on the Bottom floor which was noisy because you could hear people walking back and forth. Whoever stayed above us moved their furniture A LOT which we could hear from below. The complaints about the Food in recent reviews bothered me but the food wasn't bad at all. There were A LOT of seaweed on the beach which made it hard to enjoy the view. Overall nice resort.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. Easy check in process. The property was distant from other resorts which made it inconvenient when it came for pick up and drop off from excursions. The smell of seaweed and algae was not bearable. The staff did their best to clean it but our room was next to the pile of it. Moreover we have lighting outage in our room 1-2 times. The food was okay.

The resort itself was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly, but I have seen much better animation teams elsewhere and there wasn’t a lot of nighttime entertainment.

The hotel was nice. We had a few issues upon arrival the elevator didn’t work we had to walk up a bunch steps with our luggage. Our bathroom had a leak in the ceiling and our toilet was clogged. The lights in our room kept blinking on and off for no apparent reason. The room was a great size and clean with a beautiful view. It was difficult getting a hold of the front desk to report the room issues. Overall, the hotel is nice aesthetically but the food is horrible.

I never write reviews but I had to this time. Property was absolutely stunning but the amount of upselling and absolute rudeness of the staff almost ruined our trip. Beach was absolutely ruined by pushy non-stop salesmen, the pool was only slightly better. Most of the activities were on the family side of the resort strangely enough (including the club, sports bar, and nightly DJ parties). Adults side was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. Normally I’d love this, but we thought adults only would have more of an adult friendly vibe. Instead it seemed more to cater to an older, quieter clientele. Food was terrible. We spent the entire time at the buffet (the family resort buffet is also way better but then there’s the kids at a buffet aspect) as the one night we planned for their steakhouse dinner (supposed to be fancy), we didn’t get food to the table for 1.5 hr (with only one other party in the restaurant) and it was terrible. The clientele they’re trying to attract with the amount of money they must have put in to creating this beautiful resort will never come back with the abysmal customer service and food. Definitely some standout staff but they were few and far between. Beware of the personal concierge you are assigned when you first arrive. They will treat you like royalty and then very heavy handed and when you least expect it, try and convince you to sit down for a 60 min(!) timeshare-like presentation, and when you kindly decline, you will see their true colors.
