I loved the spa!! Really great experience with staff, water circuit, massage, and overall treatment! Best thing there!! They were very accommodating when we had AC issues..they were quick to place in a different room!

Overall a nice place to hang out and chill on the beach, but beware the seaweed and pickle juice colored water.....where available. Lots of food options but if u like your food warm/hot forget about that. The sports bar is probably the best throughout the day but u get tired of the same ole food. Staff can be a bit stand offish especially if u don't speak the language. And beware of the time share bullies that swear it's not time sharing their presenting.......LOL. The staff do great to keep you entertained the whole day. The drinks are great. The swim up is awesome. The place is a bit dated even though it's some areas that are upgraded. Plenty of bars if thats your thing. The theater and night club are cool too.

The staff was poorly trained and inattentive to your needs. Never answered the phone for services. The food was average at best. The beach and pool were nice. Rooms were clean. With some work this could be a good place.

We did have a problem booking reservations for the restaurants The elevators need to be cleaned better Our room was very nice and we appreciated the cleaning staff every day The pools and beach were wonderful!

We visited this resort about two years ago, just my wife and I, and at that time it was a pretty decent experience. Unfortunately, in just a short two-year period, the quality has really declined. The property feels run-down and not well-maintained, and cleanliness was noticeably lacking. Food options were very limited, and while there seemed to be plenty of staff around, many didn’t appear to be doing much. The few who were working hard seemed overextended, and at times it felt like asking for a drink was an inconvenience. We usually tip generously when we travel, but the level of service this time just didn’t match what we’ve come to expect. The rooms were average at best. We paid extra for a swim-up room, expecting more attention to detail, but that wasn’t the case. It seems like this resort may have peaked a few years ago and has since stopped prioritizing quality and guest experience. The desserts were disappointing, and the food overall wasn’t great. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Overall, we had a good time. However, the facilities are somewhat shabby. All the metal is rusty (likely due to the high humidity), the towels need to be replaced, the screen in the theatre desperately needs to be fixed, and everything looks like it needs a deep clean. We also had to contact maintenance three times due to the sewage smell in the drains. They rectified at each time, but it was unfortunate to have to deal with that. You will read a lot of mixed reviews about the food, which is understandable. Overall, it wasn’t bad, you will always find something you can eat. You will also read reviews saying that staff were not friendly and others saying they are. All those reviews are right, some are and some aren’t. The pools are incredible, the beach is lovely, and the entertainment fun. This is a very much a get what you pay for experience, but don’t let it deter you from coming because the Dominican Republic it is well worth it.
