Very disappointing booking an all-inclusive resort online to then be told at the venue that you didn’t and be placed in a family resort. The old bait and switch trick. Never going back to D.R.

This place is horrible. Food is old & stale. The Buffett is the worst of all. The only staff member that was sweet & welcoming was the hostess and on guy I believe his name was Carlos. Everyone else seemed like they didn’t want to be bothered. The only good thing out of the buffet was the black coffee. I passed on the milk since everything at this place is room temperature I wanted to avoid the possibility of the milk being spoiled. This is your only option for breakfast. Unripe & far from edible fruit covered in flies. Nothing looked appetizing. The food truck wasn’t too bad but the guy looked so miserable we didn’t even want to go back and deal with him. The chopsticks at the Japanese restaurant were covered in fuzzy green & black mold. The bartenders at the bar weren’t friendly either. The linens wow I’ve never seen such disgusting towels. Hard, stiff and ready for the trash. I had to pat myself dry so i wouldn’t ripe my skin. That’s how hard they were. No wash clothes either. Same for the robes in the room they were nasty & hard . Who wants to wrap themselves up in that? The rooms weren’t great either. One of our pillows had mildew. The floor behind the bathroom door was dirty there were pieces of paper, sand and little random pieces of plastic. Refrigerators don’t keep drinks cold either. For our entire stay of 5 nights the elevator in our building was also out for 3 days. Pool bars are also falling apart. I could go on all day about this horrendous place

The bath towels were very dingy. They were not white and they were very hard limited bath towels, one towel per day per person. The pool inside the floor was cracking or cracked the adult pool the floor outside the pool was lifting cracked. I tripped a couple times. Will not go back there will not recommend.

We had to change rooms 3 times, keep an eye, they don’t change the sheets everyday, I noticed because there was the same stain for the first 4 days until I finally took them off and placed them all on the floor. When taking them off I noticed they were very dirty and stained possibly never changed from prior guests. The first room, the safe did not work, one of the mirrors was broken and I was with 6 month old and my 10 year old. The electrical outlets did not work in the washroom couldn’t do my hair. Now pack and move to another room, the second room the AC did not work we were all dying of heat and at 2am some mechanic came and said we cannot fix it right now we will have to move you to another room, during the day one of the workers entered the room, thought the room was unoccupied never knocked interrupted us and said she left something, went under the bed and put some stuff in her bag, seemed very odd who puts her personal belongings in an empty room and under the bed. Looked to me like she’s taking things from the hotel. Now Again we pack and move to another room. It was our last two nights the last room was fine. The towels are dark and very unpleasing. This does not happen at a 5 star hotel. The food was not the best, I noticed also that the first night I was having cocktails and got sick to my stomach. Stopped and only drank beer and wine. Was fine the rest of the week. Seems like the alcohol is tempered with or ice not filtered water. 5 stars? I don’t think so.

They will lie in your face telling you that they’re gonna give you a free shirt hat for you to say yes. I came to relax & enjoy my anniversary the pushing of sales & the forcible look for a tip was very uncomfortable . The staff was nice up until you turned down whatever it is they was selling yes if you give good service to your customers then and only then you deserve a tip couldn’t even enjoy the excursions without being forced to purchase something other than that it was very nice & clean

It was Beautiful, the Staff was extremely friendly and always helpful. Josefina Calderon was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Pineapple, Spaghetti, & Mary were great entertainment. Always getting everyone involved in games. Chocolate & Wilson were great too. Paella cooked on the beach was Amazing. All the Food was great. If something not so tasty, just move on. Granted you will find something good. Definitely get a Preferred bracelet. Then you can enjoy Adult side too. So many pools, bars, jacuzzi’s etc. Can’t wait to go back.. ❤️
