cheap and cheerful. Close to the beach.

Great location, less than 5 min walk to the beach. Owner Lance is very friendly and helpful. I booked the double room (for aingle use) with private bathroom on the ground floor facing the back. Was a bit noisy bc next door unit is doing renos. Breakfast is good (eggs, toast, fruit). The unit is a bit run down but for the cheap price, cant expect much Room has a ceiling fan and some sort of central air blowing (not room control air-con). Shared kitchen which i didn't use. There are other B&B setups in the same complex which charge higher prices.

VERY BAD LOCATION, WITH OUT CAR RENTAL DIFFICULT TO MOVE. ANOTHER CATCH IS CAR RENTAL THIS COUNTRY, HAVE TO BUY EXTRA INSURANCE( 5X) FROM RENTAL BOTH. STAFFS ARE VERY GOOD IN THIS PROPERTY, BUT OLD BUILDING, NO WATER PRESSURE IN WASHROOM.

I guess you get what you pay for. When I arrived, I was walked into a small room with two bunk beds (four beds total) and there was a guy sleeping in one of the beds. I was then walked to the bathroom which had smelled terrible and the shower had no water pressure. Maybe it I should have read a bit closer but the last thing in my mind was that I'd be sharing a small room with at least one more guy (could have three since there were four beds in total.)

It was just ok! I guess you can't expect much for 42 dollars. There isn't a view of the beach and ac is only after 8 pm for sleeping. If you are looking for a place to crash, this works!

Ok on a budget but disappointing

Walking distance to the beach which was nice, but our a/c and fridge didn’t work which made for an uncomfortable stay. And kitchen was not equipped for cooking. Shower was broken and head was tied up with a plastic bag. Could have the potential to be a nice stay with a bit of TLC. Owners were great though, friendly and socailable. Breaky was simple but good. Patio was good for drying bathing suites but not much of a view.

The landlord lives right there on the property and was extremely helpful as this was my first trip abroad. He spent alot of time with us explaining the little quirks that can be found in a third world country.. It was only about a block away nfrom the beach and he gave us recommendations to eat at the Jellyfish Restaurant. It was an excellent choice, the service was phenomenal, the food was amazing. Only thing he forgot to tell us was that the gate to the market (which was the entrance into the beach), closed at 8pm. We got locked in and did a whole lot of walking to try to get out. Finally went back to locked gate and the security guard was there and he let us out. All in all, it was a good experience and gave us stories to tell.Bed was comfortable for me, shower was very nice, as was the homecooked meal.

Great budget choice for a beach stay in Punta Cana

Just a 5 minute walk from a beautiful beach, your stay with Lance and his wife will be one that is safe, comfortable, laid back and pleasant. Your stay will include a fine breakfast of eggs (fried, scrambled or poached), plus toast, fruit and coffee or tea. You will be best served by making arrangements with Lance ahead for taxi transport, because drivers seem to be confused by the name and location. There are local restaurants and lots of souvenir stands for you right at nearby Bibijagua Beach. There is hot water for the shower - you just need to remember to turn the timer on. A shared kitchen facility is available if you would like to cook your meals.WiFi worked well in the room.

A Little Dodgy and Dirty

The owner was nice enough and I would like to visit with him and chat. The property is pretty. That's where the good news ends. The showers were dirty, he wanted to charge for more than one room A/C, check in is on a rough dirt road. There was no potable water provided so bring your own. Good bed, but the furniture was mostly beat up. We only got one of two confirmed reservations and not at the online price, so pay ahead to make sure you get what you expect.

Nice place & nice people

Staff so friendly. The owner, brother and mom are such a nice, caring people. They even explained how to take public buses and where to find anything I needed. The place is so close so the beach, you gotta walk 1 min the most, and the price is worth for what you're getting. Extremely recommended mostly because of the staff, they were beyond nice.

it was great for the price. make sure if you want air conditioning and TV you book the room that has that. owners are very friendly and accommodating. Roosters are annoying at 4am. LOL. otherwise beach is BEAUTIFUL.
