Rooms- we had 2 rooms both smelled of mildew. The smell was so terrible that even room freshner didn’t help much.
The toilet had a similar smell.
The room was 12 feet by 10 feet in size approximately. With whatever furniture, there was room to move around. So the only option is to use for sleeping.
The linens were torn and smelly and was just old. It had dark patches.
The toilet has cotton towels which are equally poor quality and unclean.
The restaurant in the property serve a mix of North Indian and sea food. The price of food is little steep but quality wasn’t good at all.
All the food tasted the same and had a strong tandoor smell.
The commute from Puri station is not easy. I got an Uber to the hotel which cost me 650 bucks. For return I got an auto from the main road which also cost 600. You gotta bargain hard.
The area inside the property has a lot of trees which is a treat. The location and the view of the sea is unmatched. That’s really impressive. We roamed around the property by the sea for the most part of stay.
If you are expecting a comfortable stay with a better property upkeep , I wouldn’t recommend this.
