Welcome to Cape Arkona, the northernmost point of Rügen. Take some time out and enjoy the wonderful landscape.

Our apartment is located in the northernmost municipality of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in Putgarten. It was built in 2003 and is unmistakable for its blue and white wooden cladding. The apartment is part of a holiday complex. This consists of 26 apartments and a reception.

1.5 km from the apartment is the north beach - a natural dream beach with a south sea feeling. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Rügen.
Explore the coast along the hiking trails and enjoy the fresh sea air. On the way to the coast at "Kap Arkona" you will find the Schinkel Tower, as well as the new lighthouse and the Peil tower from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea.

Thanks to the car freedom in the small town of Putgarten, you can enjoy nature undisturbed. Only you as a holiday guest or Residents have the right to drive around the place by car.

On the Rügenhof, next to the holiday complex, you will find a candle workshop, a creative fashion studio, a basket weaving workshop and an amber shop with a stone grinder. Here you can get creative yourself or take a break in the Rügenhofcafé.
If you don't want to cook yourself, you will find the small cozy restaurant "Utspann" about 200 meters from the holiday residence, but other typical restaurants invite you to eat.

Our little guests are not neglected either. About 20 minutes away, in Glowe, is the Dinosaur Land - Rügen's largest nature and leisure park.

Our apartment, with a living space of approx. 47 square meters, is one of the larger apartments in the holiday complex and thus has enough space to relax. A bedroom with a double bed and a comfortable sofa bed offer space for max. 4 people. With a fully equipped kitchen and shower room you can feel at home. You also have a private parking space right in front of the door.

Information: The apartment was taken over by us in February 2020. We are currently in the process of modernizing the furniture (sofa bed, dining area, cupboards). The pictures correspond to the current status.

Ferienwohnung Kap Arkona
Unser Aufenthalt war Spitze, die Wohnung hat alles was man im Urlaub haben möchte. Das Bett hat eine gute Matratze, die Liegelandschaft ist bequem und groß genug für 2 Personen. In der Küchenzeile ist alles vorhanden für Frühstück aber auch zum kochen, wenn man mal nicht Essen gehen möchte. Das Bad ist sogar mit einem Fön ausgestattet, super. Zum erholen genau richtig. Es war absolut wunderschön! Die Wohnung ist top ausgestattet mit Allem was man braucht. Die Lage ist perfekt, Leuchttürme und Rügenmarkt ruck zuck erreichbar. Der Nordstrand ist wunderschön. Ein besonderen Dank will ich nochmal an Herrn Mertins (Vermieter) loswerden! Er ist super nett und zuvorkommend! Die Kommunikation lief reibungslos und immer sehr schnell! Diese Unterkunft ist mehr als zu empfehlen und wir kommen definitiv wieder ☺️

Schöner Urlaub in gepflegter Ferienwohnung
Die Ferienwohnung ist in hervorragender Lage und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist sehr angenehm und freundlich. Auf Wünsche oder Fragen wird sofort reagiert. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt
Wir sind bei Regenwetter in Putgarten angekommen. Das Wetter meinte es gut mit uns und wir konnten die Umgebung in den Folgetagen bei Sonnenschein erkunden. Der Rügenhof gleich in der Nähe mit Spielplatz und Hüpfburg wurde mehrmals erkundet. Auch zu Fuß zum Nordstrand mit unseren Kids (der jüngste 4 Jahre) war kein Problem. Schaut euch unbedingt den Sonnenuntergang an! Die Ferienwohnung war genau so wie im Inserat beschrieben. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Sehr gut fanden wir die Schließanlage, welch durch einen Zahlencode die Tür öffnet. Dies funktionierte steht’s einwandfrei und man musste nicht beim Verlassen an die Schlüssel denken. Die Einrichtung ist maritim und sehr modern gestaltet. In Badezimmer gab es viele Ablageflächen für Utensilien und einen Handtuchheizkörper. Kissen und Bettdecken waren vorhanden. Der Matratzentopper für das Schlafsofa war top und machte es gleich nochmal gemütlicher. Eine Kuscheldecke fürs Sofa war ebenfalls da. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war im Vorfeld und während unseres Aufenthaltes immer freundlich und alle Fragen wurden schnell geklärt. Wir können diese Ferienwohnung sehr empfehlen.

Ferienwohnung am Kap Arkona
Der Aufenthalt waren im ganzen super, die Wohnung war sauber und hat anhand der Bilder alles wieder gespiegelt. Es ist ein ruhige Gegend, man kann da ein Woche abschalten und einiges unternehmen, für die Kleinkinder war die Busbahn eine der hingucker und ein Magnet wenn die immer vorbei gefahren ist. Die Unterkunft selber wird von ein Reinigungsfirma sauber gehalten, die ihre Arbeit gut machen. Die Wohnung hat so eine Art Abstellkammer, wo man Ersatzgeräte, diese Kammer sollte mal überarbeitet werden, einige Geräte (Toaster zb) sollte mal ersetzt (6-8 mal drücken damit der Toast getoastet ist) werden. Die Eingangstür ist mit einem zahlencode zu öffnen, was immer wieder gut funktioniert, ab und zu muss es aber auch mehrmals probiert werden, ab und zu klemmt die Tür das man da nachhelfen muss und die aufdrücken muss, da die Tür immer wieder irgendwo klemmt.

liebevoll maritime Einrichtung
wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt in der liebevoll hergerichteten Wohnung. das Zahlenschloss an der Haustür hat eine umständliche Schlüsselübergabe prima ersetzt. Die Ausstattung ist super, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Landschaft und Sehenswürdigkeiten haben uns begeistert.

Alle Gäste der Unterkunft waren total zufrieden. Kleines Manko war nur etwas Kommunikationsschwierigkeit durch FeWo direkt. Dabei gingen nämlich wichtige Daten während eines Updates verloren, doch am Ende wurde es zu aller Zufriedenheit geklärt.

Na ja
Leider kommen nach der Reservierung zusätzliche Kosten für Endreinigung (55€) und Handtücher/Bettwäsche dazu (15€ p.P.) Im Angebot wurde nicht darauf hingewiesen und als wir den Anbieter angeschrieben haben wurden wir abgekanzelt mit der Aussage es würde in den Richtlienien stehen. Bzw die Endreinigung würde über eine Fremdfirma laufen. Faktisch ist das aber nicht wahr denn die Frau am Empfang reinigt die FeWo. Im Angebot war eine andere Ferienwohnung des Komplexes beschrieben wie wir dann hatten. So war die 2.Schlafgelegenheit die Couch statt zwei weitere Betten. Auch war die Frau am Empfang überrascht das wir zu 4. kamen. Strandnah ist auch nicht wirklich gegeben. Alles in allem keine schlechte FeWo aber die äußeren Umstände haben uns ziemlich abgeschreckt. Wir werden sicher nicht noch einmal dort buchen.

Schöne Wohnung, gute Lage, sauber und gemütlich
Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet, Bett und Couch sind gemütlich und alles war sauber. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer war super unkompliziert, freundlich und zeitnah, hier kann man es durchaus längere Zeit aushalten. Die Pauschale für Wäsche fanden wir mit 15€ p.P. recht hoch, fällt bei längeren Aufenthalten aber natürlich nicht wirklich ins Gewicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
