Accueil magnifique ! Nos hĂŽtes sont des amours. Le logement est tout simplement fĂ©erique. La plage Ă  1km ainsi que tous les restaurants
supermarchĂ© Ă  cĂŽté bref, tout Ă  portĂ©e. ExtĂ©rieur du logement gĂ©nial, arborĂ©, petite douche Ă  l extĂ©rieur Ă©galement, plusieurs points de dĂ©tente, petit bassin pour se rafraĂźchir

We stayed at The Goatshed during the off season. Lots of rain ( even a "named" storm ) during our stay, and still it was absolutely magical. Everything we hoped it would be ! The villages in the area had lovely tavernas and incredible bakeries as well as grocery stores well stocked with everything you need. I spent a morning sipping coffee and listening to a Greek Orthodox memorial service being chanted nearby, another morning we watched the neighbors harvesting olive trees. The Goatshed itself is the epitome of shabby chic ! Everything you need done up in incredible casual style. Both inside and out The Goatshed is full of unique art and cozy nooks to curl up in. The banquet outside the kitchen door is amazing! Candles and pots of abundant greenery, little amazing art pieces,,,I could have spent many more hours in that little corner and still found new things to see.Fida and Chris are the ultimate hosts, from their exuberant greeting on arrival, the incredible treats and gifts awaiting us, to the great knowledge of the area and recommendations, you couldn't ask for finer hosts ! like their amazing home and Goatshed they are cool, funky, artsy, bright and a true joy to get to know ! I consider them friends and can't wait to see them again !!A broken knee cap, ( happened on the way to Greece ) days of rain and a huge Mediterranean storm ( Adel ) and we still enjoyed every minute of our stay at The Goatshed. Can't wait to return !! Fida, Chris and The Goatshed, gems !

Unglaublich charmantes Ambiente! Ein alter Ziegenstall liebevoll restauriert von den EigentĂŒmern und mit vielen Details geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Wir haben uns hier rundrum wohlgefĂŒhlt und uns mit den Gastgebern richtig angefreundet. Tolle Umgebung und nicht weit bis zum Meer. Gerne wieder!

Very nice area and very friendly host. The welcoming pack was exceptional!!!In order to reach the flat you have to pass through the private garden of the host who lives next door. The small cooling pool is also located in the host's garden and we were invited to use it. We wish that would have been clearer in the description.All in all it's a lovely wee place and very well cared for and clean.

Lovely rustic accommodation and beautiful area

We stayed at the Goatshed for a week and had a great time. The property had everything we needed and Fida and Chris were on hand if you needed them, but respected your privacy so you could enjoy the peace of the surroundings or a dip in their plunge pool to cool off. You get a lovely welcome package with yogurt, honey, olives, wine and homemade bread and fava dip which was delicious. The property had tons of cooking equipment, tea, coffee and cleaning supplies - making it really easy to cook if you don’t want to go out all the time. It is a 20 min walk in to Koroni where there are loads of restaurants - Carina Food and Wine and Zorba stood out for us - and you can easily get a taxi back for about 5-7You can also walk to the beach or drive down and park on the road or at many of the beach bars or tavernas, where for many of you are a customer you can use the beach loungers and umbrella for free. It is a beautiful area and I would highly recommended it and the Goatshed.

Simply wonderful

What can I say......wonderful hosts, wonderful house and wonderful Koroni. Me and my partner loved our stay from start to finish. Fida and Chris are amazing hosts. The house is just beautiful, comfy bed and lovely shower. we also enjoyed using the outdoor shower. We had everything we needed and more! The welcome pack was above an beyond anything we have ever experienced. Thank you Fida and Chris.....we will hopefully meet again x

Charming one-off holiday home

Wonderful in every way!

The Goatshed is the most charming, delightful property we have ever stayed in over many years of visiting Greece. The property itself is exceptional, providing absolutely everything we could possibly need for our stay. The building itself is fascinating, and the interior furnished with an artist’s eye. Fida and Chris are simply wonderful hosts, so warm and generous with their time, advice, and the best welcome hamper imaginable. A wonderful holiday

We really enjoyed our stay with Fida and Chris. The small, lovely holiday home is comfortable and individually furnished and offers everything you need for your daily needs. The surroundings are simply magical. Koroni is a beautiful village, where you can enjoy the sunset in one of the restaurants at the harbor. There are several beautiful sandy beaches in the area. Fida and Chris show you all of this and are always on hand to help and advise. Being a guest here feels like a second home. Thank you for this unforgettable vacation.

Der Aufenthalt im Goat shed war super! Die Unterkunft bot alles, was man braucht! Es gab sogar Kaffee und persönlich von der Gastgeberin gebackenes Olivenbrot bei der Anreise. Der Strand vor Ort ist fusslĂ€ufig erreichbar und war wunderschön. Nur mit den HaustĂŒren hatte ich bei 1.89 Metern meine Problme und habe meinen Kopf stĂ€ndig gestossen

Fabulous stay with the loveliest hosts!

The goatshed is a lovely, quirky and unique place with a rustic feel that makes it authentic. We loved staying here and our hosts Fida and Chris were the best, from greeting us warmly, showing us around to responding quickly to any questions we had. Authentic Greek accommodation.

The Goatshed was exactly as described. Unique rustic accommodation with everything you could need provided. The welcome pack exceeded anything we have had before with lots of local provisions. The hosts were second to none, so welcoming and helpful, gave us a guided tour of the area with tips of the best places to visit. Be prepared for the sounds of the Greek countryside, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, owls, birds and bees. Sunscreen and mosquito spray required. Koroni is a lively place to eat with plenty of of restaurants serving Greek specialities on the harbour side. Lovely beaches nearby with bars if that's your thing.

Beautiful stay in a magic corner of Greece

We had a wonderful week in the Goatshed. Fida and Chris are warm and generous hosts, and the accommodation is charming and full of character. Comfy bed, great shower, excellent cooking facilities. The terrace is a fabulous spot to linger at any time of the day. Koroni and the wider Messinia area are simply magical. Highly recommended.

Wonderful!

We had a fabulous week at The Goatshed in early April. It is a gorgeous, quirky and cosy space to stay. Fida and Chris were the most thoughtful of hosts, so friendly and full of suggestions for great places to visit and always ready to help with anything. The house is excellently well equipped - everything we thought of, even things we thought we were unlikely to find, was somewhere in the house. We were very comfortable and relaxed the whole time. Cannot recommend highly enough!

A little bit of paradise in an oasis of calm!

The Goatshed is a beautiful, tranquil antidote to modern life. Fida and Chris are magnificent hosts; from the moment of arrival to saying our goodbyes, they were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. On our first day, they took us on a trip of the local area, pointing out the best beaches, restaurants and bars, and places to buy groceries. The accommodation is really well equipped - it had everything we could need and more besides. Sitting on the veranda, listening to the sounds of nature is a memory that will stay with us for a long time. We are looking forward to returning as soon as we are able to.

A gem!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Goatshed. Fida and Chris have clearly thought about the finer details. The property is very equipped and well stocked with every day necessities. A very generous welcome pack was also provided. We decided against a hire car and managed perfectly well walking to local beaches and to Keroni which are within a 1km or so from the property- the uphill climbs helped with our overall fitness. Our hosts took us to a larger supermarket on the 2nd day and also gave us a tour of the area, pointing out mini markets, fresh poduce stalls and tavernas/snack bars within walking distance. Weather was beautiful - not too hot and comfortable for sleeping. We wish Fida and Chris every success for the future and look forward to visiting again one day.

Sehr nette Gastgeber. KĂŒhlschrank war bei Ankunft mit allerlei Leckereien gefĂŒllt ( ohne Zusatzkosten) fanden wir super. Insgesamt war die Unterkunft in Ordnung. Bett etwas klein. KĂŒche gut ausgestattet. Toilettenpapier darf nicht in die Toilette (in ganz Griechenland verboten) muß in AbfalltĂŒte entsorgt werden. FĂŒr uns war das gewöhnungsbedĂŒrftig. Unterkunft liegt in einer sehr engen Straße. Parken ca. 200 Meter entfernt. Leider werden auf dem NachbargrundstĂŒck Ziegen und ein Hund unter schlechten Bedingungen gehalten. Hund 24 Stunden an Kette festgebunden. Ziegen an viel zu kurzen Leinen (ca . 50 cm ) angebunden. Kein schöner Anblick. Können die Gastgeber natĂŒrlich nichts dafĂŒr. Zum schönen Strand ca. 1 Kilometer.

Pure Entspannung

Unsere Zeit im Goatshed-Ferienhaus war fantastisch, sehr entspannt, der Olivenhain vor der Terrasse mit Meerblick, der Fußweg zum Strand und in die Stadt, die lĂ€ndliche Umgebung noch nicht zu touristisch erschlossen, aber vor allem unsere Gastgeber mit einem kulinarischen Willkommen, vielen Empfehlungen, Hilfe und Gastfreundschaft. Das Haus ist individuell gestaltet und hat eine sehr schöne AtmosphĂ€re. Wir kommen wieder!

Arrive and be happy

Dear Fida, Dear Chris, the stay with you was wonderful. We were greeted with a super delicious welcome package (do you still like to send us the recipe of the sensational focaccia Chris?). The fridge was stocked with all the essentials and much more. Kitchen fully equipped and the rest of course. You are absolutely right if you are looking for a place with heart. All is individual and one sees your love for details and beautiful and creative solutions. We arrived and immediately felt at home. And that you then also gave us the best insider tips was of course sensational. :). The sea is clear and wonderfully blue. Beaches can be found from busy to managed to completely deserted bays full of beautiful stones. The Goat Sheet is a place to breathe and arrive at yourself. The crickets, the fields, the sky. It was such a pleasure to be welcomed so warmly and with such practical treats waiting us indoors. And to be show round the beaches, shops and tavernas by locals was such a useful and kind way to start a really relaxing holiday. And so good to have the occasional update or suggestion of places to go. It had been such a shame to cancel our 2020 trip to Koroni but the Goatshed was worth the wait. You have taken such care to provide every last little thing and still managed to keep things simple. I never thought I would put on a white towelling robe after an outdoor shower in Greece! We wish you a lovely long rest of the summer and will think longingly of the birds and bees and flowers. And of the sea and mountains. And of your kindness : real filoxenia.
