We have stayed at this location several times without any issues. This last stay happened to be on Valentine's Day weekend. We were there for my child's sporting event. The room was okay, not as clean and presentable as previous stays. As for the atmosphere, the clientele of guests differed. The second night of our stay we retuned to a domestic violence incident taking place at the front of the hotel. A woman laid unresponsive on the ground while a male was yelling threats at her and staff. The staff was very attentive to this situation and perhaps saved this young woman's life. But even with their attentiveness, this poor woman lay there waiting for police, EMT and fire to, while I worry about my child's safety. This was an incident no child should have to witness. While this was not a fault of the hotel, I do wonder if the intoxication of the attacker was supplied at the hotel restaurant or bar. Needless to say, I highly doubt we will ever return to this location.

Paid a little extra to get the king suite, definitely recommended. We also paid for a riverview, even though it was winter… still a decent view. Room was clean… came with stove, fridge, dishwasher and all the necessities. Shower was very spacious, clean,and nice shower head. Because, idk about you , but if there is a cheap POS shower head it makes my rating go down about 2 stars. We did venture upstairs to have a nightcap… $17 for an espresso martini, to give you an idea of pricing up there. Complementary Breakfast in the morning was better than most I’ve seen. Lots to choose from. We did look into the pool area… decent size pool… just WAY too many kids for me. We went to the music venue The Rust Belt, for a show…so we did check out the area around the hotel. Definitely recommend Jeannie’s BoxCar restaurant, the guacamole is to die for. We actually fought over it, when we got home, who was gonna eat the leftovers. So needless to say, if we decide to venture back to the Quad Cities to see a show at the Rust Belt, we would definitely stay in that hotel again.

We originally came to stay because we found out our favorite bartender Tony is now working at the river room. We found him and he never disappoints. Best bartender around! We got the room with the kitchen. Such the cutest ever. Almost like a studio apartment. I loved how the tv swiveled around so you can watch tv from the couch or the bed. My only fuss was that we got a room with a king bed and the bed seemed like a queen... but it was cozy and super homely. We definitely will be coming back!

Great hotel. Beautiful view of the Mississippi River. Also the breakfast was very good. We only stayed one night so didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities but overall it was a very nice place to stay.
