Fine for one night

This area of town is hit and miss as it is densely populated.Clean, renovated “flip” quality rental.The place reeked of either fabric softener or fragrance that smelled as if it was covering up dust, even though the property was clean. The bathroom towels and sheets had the same odour. The one towel I unrolled had a heavy stain on it. I brought our beach towels in to use. People (plural) leaving at 1:30AM, 30 year olds heading out on bicycles at that time of night, without shirts, looking scrubby, returning at 2AM does not inspire confidence. Listened to the upstairs neighbours walk and talk past 3AM. (It was a holiday and so some forgiveness on this). No A/C. Not up to my basic standard.
