The hotel is situated on the A299 about 5 miles from Ramsgate. Although on a very busy road the room was quiet and very comfortable. Check in was from 2pm and we arrived just before then. We were greeted warmly by the reception staffand check in was fast and efficient. Slight issue was that we had requested a twin room and were given a doulble but they changed the room immediately and without question. The room was very comfortable and we were at the back of the hotel so had a view over fields which was lovely. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a good size. Bathroom was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of both hot and cold offerings and the hot was HOT. Bar prices are very reasonable and the public areas are well maintained and pleasant.

Excellent customer service

When we entered the original room 020 at minster ramsgate it had a dreadful smell likened to feaces. We retreated out and striaght back ro reception. The staff were extremely apologetic and immediately gave another room. Perfect spotless and very comfortable.

Excellent one night stay

An excellent one night stay. The check-in was very smooth, the staff are very friendly and efficient. Our room was very spacious, airy, comfortable, very clean and very well decorated. The room included an iron and board, tea and coffee were minimal, but adequate for 1 night. The bar area was a very pleasant surprise, very comfortable, airy, great bar service at a reasonable price. Free on-site parking was very welcome. I would certainly return if in the area.

Lovely stay

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast was fresh and well-stocked, with a good variety. The location was convenient, with free parking and easy access to local attractions. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Just what you expect from a Holiday Inn Express - but worth commenting every member of staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful - the Holiday Inn Southampton- Eastleigh M3, Jct13 could take notes. The condition of the room, the staff and the service were infinitely better at this Holiday Inn Express than at the supposedly better standard Holiday Inn Southampton-Eastleigh
