We actually enjoyed the quietness of this apartment even though it was a half hour drive to Vik and then some ea day as we explored the South Coast. The place was cozy, though instead of having just 2 chairs for sitting in the living room area, a couch would have been much more comfortable. The bed was cozy and we appreciated having windows to open for fresh air. Our biggest complaint was that the setting on the refrigerator was colder than it appeared...(we usually check it out before putting any kind of produce in the fridge) we had bought some salads from Costco for dinners for 3 nights since we were not close to any restaurants, and our salads and fruit were frozen the next morning. It was a real bummer to have provision all over again since none of the fresh was salvageable. Even after turning the temperature up, it still froze some of the other items we had but at least by then we could salvage those.

We were traveling through the area. Great easy in and out 2 day stay. It did not disappoint. Exact location was not exactly clear. But everything else was excellent.

Cute apartment with a beautiful mountain farm setting
This is a beautiful apartment and incredibly clean. The bed was very comfortable and it has a great layout with a full kitchen! Karl and Heiða were very responsive hosts and very friendly. We would stay again! Thank you!

You have the experience of sleeping near the mountain, the apartment is clean and there is no noise around. 8 minutes from Skogafoss, I recommend it and I would stay again. My only comment is that there is a lack of pressure in the shower.
