Hotel location is great. Right off route 1. There is a supermarket, gas station and some food trucks nearby. Hotel seems very new. While all the hardware works, there could be some improvement. Sounds proofing is not enough if you stay on the ground floor. You can hear noise from upstairs. Breakfast buffet has all the standard choices.

Very new, very nice, very European (nice wood finishes, high tech faucets, etc.). Loved our 3-day stay in a suite room, which faced a serene view. The location is in some ways "in the middle of nowhere", but we liked this location for travel in different directions on different days. Coming off of 25 days on a cruise ship we had way too much baggage to want to "hotel hop" around Iceland. More specifically: it was not too far to Golden circle, we could drive to Diamond Beach and back (a must see for us) one day, and it was only a two hour drive to the International Airport for a noon departure at the end of our trip. Other notes: * refrigerator w/ ice would be nice (cabinet seemed ready for one - maybe in the future); we had to ask for a bucket of ice from the bar for our room each day * breakfast spread was really fantastic and possibly the best we have ever had at any hotel or B&B that included breakfast * two coffee machines at breakfast provided excellent coffee, expresso, lattes, and more * all staff were friendly and helpful

This was for our first night in Iceland and what a welcome. Brand new hotel, very clean. Excellent service on every front, from check-in, dining, room cleanliness, all the way to check out. Breakfast was perfect with a lot of variety.

The hotel is new and was very clean. Breakfast was great. My daughter found the room to be hot. The staff weren't overly friendly. Good location and we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel looks brand new, as if it opened yesterday. Very clean, modern rooms, very good buffet for breakfast, and surprisingly good dinner. Right next to the N1 station where tour busses pick you up. Great location to set a base for exploring the south coast.

Property and room were brand new. Spacious and nice. Upon check-in, our room did not have bath towels but was remedied quicky. Breakfast buffet was lovely. I would suggest that hotel offers a fan in the room. Summer, although not warm an no AC is needed, it would be nice to have airflow without opening windows (which have no screen) and can be noisy outside.

Stayed three days. Really nice hotel. Quiet location. Nice sized rooms and good bed, linen and pillow. Staff very nice. Got very hot one day in room. Staff quickly brought fan and helped open window. Nice breakfast and only complaint is bacon really needed to cook substantially longer. At least some of it should be done. Would certainly stay again.

Restaurant was great, the dinner menu was small but had something for everyone. Breakfast buffet was very good. The beds were very comfortable, but the pillows could have been firmer.
