Surrounded by nature on all sides and a short 2-minute walk to beautiful Torch Lake, famous for its Caribbean blue colors!

We have owned this cottage for 23 years; and just recently decided to share it with guests!

Our 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom log cottage is the perfect nature getaway to spend time with loved ones. Located on a double lot (100ft) with plenty of privacy, on-site parking, and nightly EV charging available. You'll find spacious grounds for little ones (or your furry ones!) to run around in the yard. There is a BBQ grill and picnic table where you can enjoy tasty meals. There is also a fire pit, perfect for sitting around and roasting S'mores after a long day spent bathing at the lake. One of our favorite yard features is the 4x8ft outdoor private shower with hot/cold water just 2 steps from the back door! It's great to rinse off from the lake and even better to shower at night under the stars!

We provide both a sit-in and sit-on-top kayaks AND a stand-up paddle board (SUP), and carts for easy transport to and from the lake PLUS other water toys.
Additionally, there are plenty of activities to enjoy, including corn hole, frisbee golf, horseshoes, hammocking, and more.

Indoors, you'll find a full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a living room featuring a 55-inch TV with FIBER internet (300GB) with access to Netflix, AppleTV, Disney+, and Hulu. There are also 2 local channels via an antenna. To fit the cozy cottage vibe, we also offer a DVR / VHS player with over 100 titles available! Plenty of seating options in the common areas make it perfect for quality time with your family or friends. The two bedrooms are right down the hall, each with its closet space and plenty of sunlight. The queen-sized bedroom with the twin bed features a 30" TV. If you want to unplug we also offer playing cards, games and puzzles.

This is a cottage, so prepare for an authentic cozy experience! Expect the charm of wooden interiors, an original stone fireplace, and decor that transports you back to simpler times. The cottage's unique features might include occasional visits from friendly woodland critters, and an essential approach to modern amenities. Enjoy the fresh forest air, the soothing sounds of wildlife, and the clear night skies perfect for stargazing. Our cozy cottage promises a memorable escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, offering a true retreat for you and your loved ones while still providing high speed access to the rest of the world, if needed.

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was perfect for our small family and was great being able to have our dog with us too. The private beach and the amazing clear waters were the topping on the cake. Would definitely come back again!

Perfect Get away!

This cabin was wonderful! The host were so nice and paid so much attention to the detail of their cabin. We felt very much at home and lived only walking a minute or two to Torch Lake! Perfect cabin, perfect location and a perfect time!

Awesome place and great location

The location was great! Very short ride for groceries, gas, wood and restaurants. Short walk to the very nice beach. The cabin was well stocked and perfect for cooking and grilling. The host was also awesome, we will be back!

The cabin was very cozy, comfortable, and clean. The hosts were very accommodating and prompt in communication. The setting in the woods is very peaceful and quiet. Access to torch lake was great. It brought back memories of our residents on torch.

Enjoyed our stay at this cabin, which was spacious. The kitchen was large and very well equipped, we do a lot of home cooking and it had everything we needed. There is a short walk to the small beach area, but you will need to bring your own beach chairs. The owners are super responsive Should there be an issue.

4th of July Week Rental

We stayed here the 4th of July in 23. We are from Michigan and travel up North at least once per year. We would move up here if jobs allowed. Owners were outstanding and the cabin was well stocked with a good layout for a family of five and two small dogs. Lot is mostly sand but the outdoor shower was awesome. It is not beach front and you have to cross the road to get to the beach. It is well worth the walk as you are hard to find a better inland lake beach. Water is crystal clear and you can walk out 300 yards in any direction so it is perfect for kids. There was even a wedding held at the beach during our stay. We would give 5 stars but Torch lake on the 4th is a huge party and loud each nite until early morning. Other than that it was a great trip.
