Stunning House, Hot Tub, Wi-Fi
Old world opulence meets modern day luxury in this magnificent grade II listed Georgian manor house; an exclusive and private retreat that lends itself beautifully to special celebrations and large get-togethers.
Situated within 30 acres of mature gardens on the Caerhays Estate in Gwennap near Redruth, the setting is a magical one with floral sprays in the warmer months infusing the grounds with vibrancy and colour, and lush, grassy areas providing the perfect place to laze the languid afternoons away. Meandering woodland paths and pretty ponds offer children and grown-ups a tranquil outdoor space to explore with your canine companions in tow, and a large level lawn to the front of the house invites guests to brush up on their croquet skills or engage in a friendly game of cricket.
Seven sophisticated bedrooms provide sleeping for up to 14 guests and have been designed with complete comfort in mind. Spacious and utterly gorgeous with sumptuous mattresses, luxurious linens and fluffy white robes, they include their own en-suite bathrooms each with a bath, shower cubicle and underfloor heating.
Entertainment is central to life at Burncoose, and in addition to the property's ample outdoor space there is a well-stocked library to peruse as well as a garden conservatory with disco ball and sound system, for unforgettable family parties. Table tennis is also provided, and this can be set up either in the spacious rear hall or the courtyard while a bubbling hot tub with candles and LED lighting is ideal for a relaxing soak at any time of the day.
Avid gardeners will love a visit to the world-famous Burncoose nurseries that can be found on the estate, and for days out that include water-based adventure and activities both the River Fal and Stithians Lake are within easy reach of the property.
Unfortunately this property does not permit Party Groups, Stag or Hen Do's.
Burncoose House is best suited to families or couples looking to enjoy a relaxing break in Cornwall. If your booking falls outside either of these groups, please get in touch before making your booking to discuss your requirements.
We ask our guests for a ÂŁ500 security deposit, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
Burncoose House was a beautiful house on a nice estate. You can do lovely walks and there are plenty possible excursions in Cornwall to make if you're ready to do a car ride.
On top you always comeback in the house which provides you everything for a relaxing stay. We were very happy with our vacation here.

Stunning house
We were 6 couples staying for a walking week in Cornwall. On arrival, being met by Marian made us feel so welcome, rather than a diy key box, which is so impersonal. The house was beautiful, well equipped (even fluffy white bathrobes) and very well maintained and clean. A welcome pack was waiting for us in the kitchen, which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. Tracy, the housekeeper, was easily contactable by phone for any queries or issues we had, and responded promptly. We had a great week and I would thoroughly recommend this property. It's beautiful.
