We hadden 1 uur voor inchecken nog contact gehad met de eigenaar. Op het moment van inchecken kregen we geen contact meer met de eigenaar. We kregen ook geen sleutel/code. Hierdoor hebben we een andere accommodatie moeten reserveren.Het contact met Vrbo was wel uitstekend. Ook Vrbo kreeg geen contact met de eigenaar.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The host advertised that we would experience all the comforts of home and that toilet paper was included. First of all, I had to prompt the host for the entry instructions. We had to send a message when we were in front of the building. We waited 15 minutes to be let in. No toilet paper, dirty glasses in cupboard—not just a stubborn lipstick mark, but really filthy with one wine glass still containing wine. Dirty floors, no WiFi password provided until we asked for it. No instructions provided for appliances. Slow draining kitchen sink. An overhead shower that just soaks the bathroom when used. A second loft that seems unsafe because it requires a climb up a long ladder that doesn’t seem strong enough. Host didn’t provide any response about the toilet paper. When I asked him again, he responded with I don’t have control over the cleaning and I don’t live there, so it’s complicated. When I asked about a wine bottle opener, he said that he had one (past tense), and that I could ask the neighbors. Lighting in the apartment is industrial, as in bare white incandescent bulbs. Overall, not a great VRBO experience.
