** Now with free Wifi!! **. Chalet Kolbnitz is a traditional Austrian detached house with garden on the sunny side of the beautiful Mölltal valley in Kolbnitz, National Park Hohe Tauern. The spacious house features sleeping for 6 in 3 bedrooms (no bunk beds/sofa beds), a bathroom with roll top bath, a shower room, 2 toilets, a kitchen with breakfast table and a lounge/diner with corner sofa & dining table. Two bedrooms have balconies with great mountain views, while in summer there is a wood decked terrace where you can enjoy the view with a glass of wine at the table. The central location in the Mölltal valley is perfect for summer and winter holidays amongst the lush rivers, lakes and mountains. It has two funiculars for hiking in the mountains, a rafting centre, a horse riding centre, tennis courts, a swimming pool & restaurants/bars, also nearby is Millstätt with its beautiful lake & golf course. In winter there is a village ski lift & the ski resorts of Ankogel & Mölltaler Glacier (all year skiing, 20mins).


We frequently improve the house, recent additions include: a new roof, new bespoke made wooden child stair gate, child friendly balustrade upstairs, re-laid and repaired terrace, new dishwasher, new cooker, new washing machine and a new hot water heater.
Airports near Kolbnitz: Klagenfurt - 98km, 1 hour drive. Ljubljana (Slovenia) - 132km, 1.25 hour drive. Salzburg - 159km, 1.5 hour drive. Graz - 224km, 2 hour drive. Trieste (Italy) - 226km, 2 hour drive. Vienna - 400km, 3.5 hours drive.













Car hire: In addition to the usual car hire pick up points in Austria (airports, etc) car hire outlets in Slovenia and Italy usually include driving in Austria at no additional cost, but please check with your car rental company before booking. Driving to Kolbnitz is straight forward, leave the A10 Motorway and take the road towards Grossglockner for 10 minutes, there are no hair pin bends and the roads are cleared of snow in winter.

Getting to Kolbnitz by train: Take an Intercity (IC) train to Mallnitz, Spittal or Lienz then catch the local train to Kolbnitz.

Wir waren über Sylvester zum Skifahren hier. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und alle Details gut erklärt. Ein e Verlängerung für das beiladen unseres E—Auto wurde bereitgestellt. Wir würden jederzeit dieses Objekt weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit

Eine schöne Urlaubswoche in Österreich
Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und funktionell ausgestattet. Nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag kehrt man gern dorthin zurück. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch Markus und Gerlinde ist super. Die beiden sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns dort gut aufgehoben gefühlt und kommen gerne noch einmal wieder!!

Prima huis met mooie grote tuin!
Leuke vakantie gehad; was ook supermooi weer! Alles aanwezig in het huis. Rustig vrijstaand gelegen. Karinthie-card is een aanrader want daarmee hebben we veel dingen bezocht/gedaan.

Eine sehr freundliche Begrüßung. Schöner Garten und eine große Terrasse mit etwas Ausblick. Größte Überraschung, Bonus: Ein friedlich plätscherndes Bächlein nebenan, Weintrauben und Äpfel. Perfekter Ort auch für Ausflüge, aber vor allem, um mal richtig auszuruhen.

Chalet in Kärnten
Ein wunderbares, klassisches Holzhaus nahe dem Millstätter See. Wir haben uns als Familie äußerst wohl gefühlt. Der Garten ist voller Obstbäume und Blumen und es hat eine riesige Terrasse sowie weitere Sitzecken. Die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Alles ist sehr gepflegt, einladend und charmant. Wir haben von hier aus herrliche Wanderungen und Badeausflüge unternommen. Der Kontakt mit den Besitzern sowie den Nachbarn, die die Schlüssel verwalten, war sehr herzlich. Klare Empfehlung!

Wunderbarer Urlaub
Das Haus samt Ausstattung, Ausblick und Umgebung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Kinder hatten auch viel Spaß, ob im tollen Garten oder kuschelnd auf der Couch vorm TV. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, so dass wir spontan glücklicherweise um eine weitere Woche verlängern konnten. Vermieter und Ansprechpartner vor Ort sind sehr nett und jederzeit erreichbar für Rückfragen. Wer die Ruhe und viel Platz mag, ist hier genau richtig. Vielen Dank, dass wir hier Urlaub machen durften :)

Sehr zufrieden
Schönes altes Ferienhaus mit Charisma. Die Betreuung vor Ort war ausgezeichnet. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und verabschiedet, es gab gute Empfehlungen für Ausflüge, Wanderungen und kulinarische Genüsse. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür. Wenn das Wetter noch entsprechend mitgespielt hätte, wäre es perfekt gewesen. So kamen wir jedoch in den Genuss den gemütlichen Ofen im Sommer heizen zu dürfen.
