Nice hotel and location, poor service

Just returned from spending a week at this hotel. Great location and hotel facilities. Buffet was also very nice with lots of options. There was no drinks service round the pool which was surprising for such a large hotel. Beds very hard and not recommended for anyone with bad back. Overall, hotel staff appeared unknowledgable, unapproachable and unhelpful, except in the Spa as they were great. Wifi free only in lobby which everyone tried to sit which wasn't a good set-up and anywhere else in hotel was a cost, but signal so weak that its not worth paying for. Would be a winner if changed staff and sorted out wifi.

Noisy guests

Although the staff were great and hotel lovely. The attitude and rudeness of guests from a different country really spoilt our stay, not to mention they talked noisily in the corridors before 07.00 waking us up every day.

Very nice hotel but very secluded

When we first arrived were very impressed with the quality of this hotel. The reception areas were very clean and modern and the staff very inviting. We were also quite pleased with the quality of the room, even though we hadn't booked a pool view the mountain scenery was very pleasing. The pool area is also very comfortable and relaxing and it was easy getting a sunbed every time we needed one, also on the beach too. We also made a lot of use of the free wi-fi near to the reception to keep in touch with family. The only negatives are that the hotel is on a bay that has hardly any other bars/cafes and the hotel drinks are very expensive and unavoidable if you don't travel. We spent a lot of money on taxis and buses on an evening to try and find some nearby nightlife. There was some hotel entertainment on an evening but it was infrequent and low key. If you want a relaxing holiday this would be an ideal choice.

Remote, but was part of why I booked this hotel.

New before we went that we were a bit away from the airport, enjoyed my stay, the village of Lindos is well worth a visit, have a meal on one of the many terraced restaurants in Lindos, great.

Relaxing hotel

Just what we needed for a relaxing holiday. Lovely view from the balcony. Very close to the beach. Food gave variety in terms of buffet and the staff were efficient and welcoming. However, all inclusive doesn't include drink but there was a minimart to buy cheaper water. Lindos is 10 minutes in a cab but wouldn't advise walking because it's all up hill and during summer months very hot, but very affordable journey and also a bus. The beach seems private, quiet and peaceful with umbrellas and beds provided. Would go back again

Would definitely recommend

We stayed for 2 weeks at Lindos Bay and had a great time. The hotel was very good only one negative point, that the room wasn't always cleaned to a high standard e.g. the glasses in the room were not cleaned for several days but other than that can't criticise, very pleased overall. Staff were friendly, food was excellent and Spa was good, enjoyed a lovely massage in there.

Wonderful Resort

The Sentido Lindos Bay is a resort just outside of Lindos Bay. You virually walk from the hotel to a wonderful, clean beach. There are lounges and umbrellas for everyone. It also has two swimming pools and a full spa with steam.

Welcoming, pleasant, very clean.

Only stayed one night (unfortunately) but was given a fabulous room with sea views. The room was very well appointed, well furnished including bathrobes, slippers and toiletries. The hotel is right on the beach which adds to its attraction. To get to Lindos village or further, you need a car.

Highly recommended!

Great location, easy to find from the airport, it is just Off the main route. 5 mins to Lindos town, 45 to Rhodes town, would highly recommend to hire a car as it is very easy to navigate your way around rhodes. Hotel was very clean, modern with a big pool. Room was large and airy but be warned the beds are a little hard. Great sea view, recommend to get this. Overall a great holiday will definitely return

Lovely hotel.

Overall good,but found it too noisy at times. The evening entertainment area was located near our room and went on till late in the night. Probably only holiday I have returned from tired due to lack of sleep.

A perfect post exam relaxation

We have just returned from our 10 day holiday at Lindos Bay Hotel, the hotel met all our expectations and more. The room was lovely, with beautiful views, and clean towels everyday with robes and slippers. The restaurant included all types of food, cooked to a very high standard- made from scratch. For us, being outside of lindos town itself worked very well, it was easy to visit the town during the day, with buses running from the hotel, but in the late afternoon it was nice to escape the heat and business of Lindos by returning to the peaceful hotel. There was a boat trip which left from the beach directly in front of the hotel, each day, which we would highly recommend as a day trip, stopping at a taverna with great food. Overall a very well managed, friendly hotel with a little bit of luxury!

Hotel was very nice and secluded location

Lindos town is lovely and the hotel is just 5 minutes in a taxi. You can't walk into Lindos from Hotel, too far. Hotel was very good and the restaurant food for half/full board was excellent. Pool bar crockery etc could have been a little cleaner, but otherwise the service was fine. The pool and frontage beach also very nice. You definitely have to get out and about as the bay where the hotel actually is doesn't really offer anything more than the beach. A few local restaurants near to the hotel, otherwise you have to go into Lindos to eat other than in the hotel restaurant.

Great Location

My husband and I recently stayed here with our 7 year old daughter and can't really fault anything with this hotel. We were very pleased with the accommodation, food and service. The location is ideal for those wanting to be out of the main areas. The views are amazing! We had half board included (buffet breakfast and dinner) which was varied each day and was lovely until my husband got sick from eating the fish on the last night we were there. Special mention to Maria for being so lovely and helpful. Overall a beautiful place and would stay there again!

Relaxing hotel

Visited Lindos Bay during May half term. The hotel was more than we had hoped for, very clean, friendly and extremely relaxing place to stay. A mainly couples hotel with only a handful of children it was ideal for a get away from it all place, with no screaming children racing around the pool area. The food was wonderful, with a huge variety to choose from. Every night at dinner there was at least 3 choice of fish and an array of meat, pasta and vegetable dishes to choose from. I counted a variety of 12 desserts every night not counting the icecream and fruit also on offer.

Glorious Greece... hotel wasn't bad either

Pleasant and attentive staff from arrival to departure, from cleaning team to beach bar. Excellent range and quality of food (was half board). Good location for touring. Perfect facilities for relaxing; two pools with comfy loungers and quality umbrellas, pool bar open all day, sea / beach a few hundred metres away (all visible from pool areas). Good size room with balcony. Efficient A/C. Evening entertainment generally ok. All in all, great value... a good time had by all.

Lovely hotel

Just arrived back from this hotel. The hotel is lovely, very clean, staff are very friendly and the food is the best I've ever eaten in a hotel. The only problem is the hotel is in lindos bay and not in lindos, there is absolutely nothing in lindos bay but 2 more hotels, we did find a little beach bar we walked to every night just a bit further down from the hotel and there is a little shop too. I read reviews saying there wasn't much around but didn't realise how quiet it would be. Lindos is 10 euros each way from the hotel in a taxi but definitely worth a visit. There is one bus outside the hotel at 9.30 that takes you too rhodes town and it cost 5 euros, there are plenty buses back but they drop you on the main road and it's quite a steep walk back to hotel. The bus to rhodes took 1 and a half hours and was very full, we tried to get the bus back at 4.30 but it was a cloudy day and was so busy we couldn't get on the bus and the line was so busy for the next bus which was in 2 hours we ended up staying and getting a taxi back for 55 euros. The food at the hotel is excellent. The drinks are a little expensive but you get a fridge in your room and the little shop down the road is cheap for drinks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it was the nicest hotel I've stayed at abroad. The only problem is the location for me as I like walking and a few different bars.

Stress-free stay!

Really friendly hotel staff, clearly wanted guests to enjoy their stay. Room with a sea view was worth the extra money. Food was plentiful, and there was something to suit all family members. Service at dinner was excellent when Kyriacos was the waiter and less good on nights when he wasnt there. Manolis was also very good at the beach bar. Would recommend an early dinner and early to the beach bar before the evening entertainment - else service was slow. It was really nice not to have to fight over beds and shades by the beach but by the swimming pool was a typical affair with most beds taken up by 8am. Overall we had an extremely pleasant stay and we would go back!

Stay in confidence

Spent four nights here from 2 June 2013. Found hotel to be clean and quiet. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Hotel is NOT in Lindos and I would recommend hiring a car - there's a local company just next to the hotel. Other than that, trips to Lindos would have to be by taxi. Meals in the main restaurant were plentiful although not restaurant quality - more like a canteen. But good enough, nevertheless Overall no problems in recommending this hotel.

Nicely situated hotel

We were upgraded to a suite which pleased us very much! The hotel is right on the beach and has a lovely pool. There is also a bar next to the pool with a great bartender whose name was Alex. The staff inside the dining room were also very nice. Clean, lovely location, etc.

Nice place to stay

We loved the hotel. May be because it was a pre-season period that we found the tranquility we were looking for.It is a really relaxing place. Half-board was a problem. The food was vary and delicious, so we were tempted to eat more and eventually put on some weight.
