Welcome to my lake house; a cozy, happy getaway in central New York located directly across from the scenic Lake Canadarago!

While this adorable home is the perfect private getaway for you and the family, its location makes it easy for you to get around.

14 miles to Cooperstown Dreams Park
5 miles to the town of Richfield Springs (gas, food)

The space
The home is charming from the minute you open the front door, with a calming blend of rustic and modern elements. The open kitchen/dining area features numerous windows which allow natural light to pour in and bounce off the knotty pine floor and walls. While there are some great dining options nearby, our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you'll need to cook you and your family a nice dinner. To the side, you’ll find a cozy reading area as well as a desk to finish any last minute work.

The kitchen/dining area opens up into the living room, so everyone can exist together in the same space without feeling on top of one another. Relax by watching a movie, sprawl out to play some board games or just take in all the peaceful views. We provide a Smart TV and Roku for you to gather and watch a movie So feel free to BYOL (bring your own login) and log in to any service you're subscribed to.

The door beside the TV leads you into the beautiful main bedroom, offering a queen-size bed, large closet and view of the lake. Off the other end of the living room you’ll find another bedroom with a full-size bed and built-in shelves for your belongings. Also on the main floor is a full bath with a shower.

While this home is ideal for groups up to 4, groups of 5 or 6 can be accommodated for a charge of $15/person per night if 2 people choose to sleep on the sectional pullout bed.

The large sliding glass door in the living area opens to a large deck from which you can take in the view Lake Canadarago and lounge in the sun on the comfortable outdoor furniture. Below the deck, is a grill ready for you to BBQ and generous space for yard games!
*Note- all outdoor furniture is removed during the winter months to protect it from wintertime deterioration.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire main house including deck and yard.

House Notes-

Please keep in mind that we run on septic. Please do not flush anything that's not toilet paper.

The Lake House uses well water. For your convenience, we have installed various water filtration systems and test water regularly. So no need to bring bottled water unless that’s your preference.

In an effort to keep the entire property more secure, we have installed a Ring Doorbell Camera on the exterior of the house. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside. The neighborhood is very safe, but this helps us keep an eye on the property :)

Lake access is across the street. Please exercise caution while crossing the road. Feel free to enjoy the dock for swimming and picnicking but please be mindful to share the space. Access is shared with a neighboring property.
Life jackets are available and must be worn if using kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, etc.
