Room smelled like mildew. Was located above the pool area. A/c was either freezing or too hot.. Couldn’t adjust it to any comfort level. When talking to the front desk they told me “you should have told us” I explained that the person on staff when we checked in told me that our room (212] was the only one left. Apparently that was not true. All in all. A terrible stay. They would not offer a refund or and partial refund.

Staff was great, room not so much. The pillows were so flat, so bad they should go in the trash. The curtains had food all over them and there was no way to block the bright lights from the parking lot. Our room needed blackout curtains. We had a terrible night sleep due to all the light coming into the room.

Ac was on when we arrived in 37 degree weather, took a while to figure out why the room was so cold, then the heat pump thermostat didn’t work: setting 60 was heading north of 75 when we figured out to leave the fan on at all times and then the thermostat seemed close to reality, so the 60 setting was then way too cold. With a room oscillating was a bad night sleep and management does nothing, didn’t listen to this story and then asked why we didn’t ask for a new room, as if I hadn’t just finished telling them it took 11pm—5am to figure that all out. They made no concessions.

The room had a terrible smell.. thankfully we had some air freshener spray. The room was okay as far as being clean. Wall paper in the bathroom had been half way repaired from previous damage. I would not stay here again. My previous experiences with Fairfield Suites has been positive in all aspects.
