Some improvements needed
House was spacious and modern, photos are generally accurate, and property manager very responsive. However, it’s clearly managed with very basic amenities: No shower curtain in one guest bathroom made it nearly unusable, no end tables or lamps in most bedrooms, no coffee table in the living room, no coffee maker in the kitchen, very small number of mismatched glasses in the cabinets, no art on the walls, overall felt too bare even by rental property standards. Trash bins were also completely full when we arrived. Self check-in was easy, but setting a late “standard” 5:00 pm check-in time and then charging extra for each earlier hour seems unnecessarily greedy. An overall mixed experience thst could be improved with a bit more care by the managers.

House was spacious and in a nice neighborhood. The property was an excellent and timely communicator Found some “things” in the master bedroom night stand. 4 door handles were broken. No coffee maker or grill.

Could be better prepared for guests
We were overall pleased with our stay. It seemed to us that the host could do some easy things that could make the experience better. *there was no information booklet at the house *the kitchen was minimally stocked with only one pan and no coffee pot *there was not any extra toilet paper and if our complete group would have stayed there we would have run out The host was quick to respond to our questions of internet and how to get the dishwasher started but he could have avoided those calls with a detailed information sheet or booklet at the house. Also, the kitchen supplies were not adequate.

Ace management
King went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible! Any issue/concern/requirement we faced was quickly and promptly resolved with excellent communication. The house is modern, beautiful, well equipped with high end appliances and TVs. All of my guests loved it and our stay was a lot of fun, will definitely book again! Check in and check out was a breeze.

Here is my overall feedback. I am aware that there is no blame for some details like the location, but hope it to be important. Location: 1hr without traffic outside of Houston, so be prepared for lengthy travel time if you plan to venture to the city. Good neighborhood, and nice neighbors. Home over all was modern and pretty. Cleanliness: The host charges a cleaning fee but gave the home to us in an unsanitary manner. All showers in the home had scum build-up so thick that it was clear that the curtains had not been changed or cleaned in quite a long time. The dishwasher also had scum build up that was again so thick, we were concerned with using the dishes that were provided. We entered to an overflow of trash in the garage. It smelled so bad that we could not use any of the workout equipment or even park our car in the garage. Food was found in between the couch cushions and under the sofa. This was extremely alarming because we were denied an early check in before 5PM, due to cleaners being present and not scheduled to be finished until 4PM. When we finally entered, it was clear that no one had cleaned the home. It did not smell clean with old food stains on counters, and dust on the wooden surfaces. Host: dismissive and condescending. He was unapologetic and tried to blame the cleaners. He tried to have use take out the old trash as part of a policy, and tried to have me call the cleaners to get an apology from them. My first and last time with VRBO.
