This tranquil 3-bedroom, 2-bath, air-conditioned ranch-style home is nestled on 2 acres among the Pinion, Juniper, and Ponderosa pines. It is centrally located on Log Hill Mesa, just 15 minutes from downtown Ridgway, a quick 30-minute drive to downtown Ouray, and a 60-minute drive to Telluride Ski Resort.

Guests enjoy the cozy home away from home atmosphere with a wood-burning stove in the living area to enjoy while watching your favorite movie on the large flat screen TV or playing a board game. The fully equipped kitchen opens up to the dining area for your group to prepare and enjoy a meal together. All bedrooms are located on the first floor. The Primary bedroom features and Ensuite bathroom and the second and third bedrooms feature Queen beds with a full bathroom in the hallway. You'll stay comfortable in the warmer months with the newly installed A/C!

ABOUT THE AREA
Nestled at 7,800 feet, Ridgway , CO offers year-round outdoor activities and everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year! In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. You'll love the summer music series, in July, at Hartwell Park! In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray! Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever-popular Ouray Hot Springs.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

This may have been the most well stocked rental we have ever stayed in. Dishes, cookware, spices and coffee all available. Lush towels, comfortable beds, beautiful location. My family (5 adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home.

House was very nice and clean! Please keep in mind that the home does not have central air conditioning and we didn’t know that prior to booking our stay! July in SW Colorado can be hot and we definitely were warm! The owners provided one portable AC unit and that kept one bedroom nice and chilly but the rest of us were very warm!

Mountain Retreat

This house on top of the mesa in Ridgway was fantastic. It easily accommodated four adults and is in a perfect spot to access all of your mountain adventures. The trail system through the log hill community was an added bonus. We will definitely be returning soon!

Highly recommend Peaceful, relaxing, well stocked

Beautiful clean house. Well stocked with lots of supplies, they have thought of everything and have it for you. Little things that I always forget they have thought of, for example band aids, my son cut his finger. Plenty of kitchen items and supplies for cooking and wiping down the kitchen. Great wifi coverage, 3 people had to log in for meetings, no issues.

Great property!

The property listed gave our vacation a great base camp for outdoor and off-roading experience. The property is clean, well-equipped with very clear instructions for check- in/check-out. It sits in a very quiet area with great views. Highly recommended!

Great Mountain Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked when we arrived (food storage/wraps, spices, coffee, sugar, etc). The property manager was immediately responsive when I did not receive check-in information due to technological difficulties. The property was 15 minutes from downtown Ridgway and easy to access from Montrose. 2 recommendations: 1) outlets with a USB option would be nice and 2) the grill lighter did not work. Thankfully we were able to locate some matches and were able to light it with those. Certainly not deal breakers! We will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Beautiful Views, quiet and clean!

This was our 2nd time staying in this home. The mountain views from the windows and back deck are amazing and we enjoyed watching deer, bunnies and birds every evening. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed visiting Ridgway (there’s a great park for kids there), Ridgway State Park, Ouray, Silverton and Telluride from this house. We also rode the Cascade Canyon Express train from Durango during our stay (made for a full day, but well worth it!) We we’re glad the home had 2 fans. It was pretty warm during our stay in June/July and the house got warm during the day (not as big of a deal because we were not there during the day as much). The house cooled off easily at night and fans were a big help. Thank you for an awesome stay!

Not recommended for summer vacations! No A/C

We stayed during July. When we got into the house the heaters were on 70 degrees. The house was unbearable. My husband and I planned to have some rest before going out for dinner. Just impossible! We were disappointed. We had to open all windows and front door to get some fresh air. Only after 3 days we were getting comfortable.
