Our farm, which offers boarding for horses, is a peacefully situated organic farm in Ecking on the beautiful Simssee, with 5 apartments for 2–6 people. Our farm is also home to cats, rabbits, and sheep, as well as chickens that provide the eggs for our breakfast. We run our Danner Farm organically and GMO-free. Our large garden, complete with a play area and a trampoline, is freely available to all our guests, and anyone who’d like to is welcome to pick herbs for tea from our garden. Parking is available right on the farm. Our vacation apartments are comfortable and offer space for families with several children, as well as for couples or solo travellers, and are located in the farmhouse and in the “Zuhaus.” The vacation apartments in the farmhouse have a balcony and offer views of Lake Simssee or the mountains. The custom-designed apartments in the “Zuhaus” building feature plenty of wood, a modern yet warm ambiance, a beautiful large terrace with a gas grill, and unobstructed views of the countryside. Guests staying in these two apartments during the fall or winter can light a crackling fire in the wood-burning stove and enjoy its cozy warmth.
The vacation rental is located in a quiet area near the lake. The vacation rental is equipped with a TV and radio, a hair dryer, as well as bed linens and towels. It accommodates 2–4 people and features 2 separate bedrooms, a kitchen-living room, a bathroom with a shower, a balcony with mountain views, and is approximately 50 m². We offer a playground and lawn for relaxing, a sandbox, table tennis, a campfire site, a bike garage, a playhouse with a slide, horseback riding, nature-friendly farming, and petting animals.
At nearby Simssee, there are several swimming spots with a kiosk. From our farm, it’s just 2 km to Riedering, which offers plenty of shopping options. Rosenheim, with its downtown area boasting a Mediterranean flair, is about 8 km away and is perfect for strolling and window shopping. Day trips to nearby Chiemsee or to Salzburg and Munich—the “cosmopolitan city with a heart”—offer plenty of variety for singles, families, seniors, and couples; we also welcome smaller groups. Along the hiking trails by the nearby Simssee, you’ll find a variety of recreational activities, such as hiking, jogging, Nordic walking, or biking. We’re open year-round and offer plenty of ways to make your vacation both relaxing and full of new experiences. In winter, you can have fun sledding right here on our sledding hill—perfect for all ages—and when winter gets really cold, you can enjoy and explore the entire lake on ice skates.
