Doe's Hideaway - rural retreat

A charming little getaway cabin surrounded by nature! Doe's Hideaway is a brand-new build completed in August 2023 with all new furniture and appliances. It offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. Nestled in a serene seeand secluded setting, this fully furnished home provides a peaceful retreat where you can reconnect with nature and create lasting memories. We're off the beaten path, but near Magnolia & the Silos, Baylor, Cameron Park Zoo, ExtraCo Event Center, Downtown Waco, Spice Village, Texas Ranger Museum, and the Dr. Pepper Museum.

Doe's Hideaway features a private bedroom with a King-size bed, French doors opening to the backyard and excellent views of the private pond and surrounding nature. There is a full bath with luxury shower, soaker tub, and separate water closet in the hall near the main bedroom. Additionally, there is a 1/2 bath convenient to all entertaining and sleeping areas. The spacious open-concept living, dining, kitchen area boasts vaulted ceilings and a Queen size sleeper sofa for additional guests.

Guests will have access to the entire private cabin and access to explore all that the surroundings have to offer!

There is one RV hookup for water & electric available for an additional fee, and it is only rented out to cabin occupants. So if you are traveling by RV or bringing extra guests in an RV, they can stay on-site with you. Please send us a private message for details.

We also offer a military discount, and special add-on services like mid-week cleaning for longer stays, a stocked pantry based on your recipe/list, special occasion amenities and on-site mini gift shop. Send us a message for information about any special requests.

We had a wonderful time with our stay. We were visiting family in Waco so the Doe's Hideaway was far enough away from Waco to enjoy relaxation after a busy day. The stay was in the middle of a severe storm but the stay in the Doe's Hideaway was cozy and peaceful when storms were all around. The Doe's Hideaway will be our home away from home when we are visiting the Waco area.

This was my second stay at Doe's Hideaway. It is a serene and beautiful setting, and the house is perfect appointed. It is 15-20 minutes easy commute from downtown Waco & Baylor University. It is perfect for porch sitting, walks, fishing and watching the stars.

Absolutely loved staying at Does Hideaway. No detail was avoided in making this a great place stay. Most rentals do not provide all the little extras that makes your stay so much better. Comfy beds, clean towels, coffee and creamer, snacks, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergents. They thought of everything. House is clean and roomy. The setting is so relaxing. Would stay here again!

My husband and I needed a break from the city and were looking for a place to relax. This house was absolutely perfect! We loved the location... close enough to Waco to walk around the downtown area and do a little shopping, yet far enough away to have some nice, open space. Book Doe's today! The very best vacation rental that I have ever stayed at. Not only is it a lovely home with amazing surroundings, the owner thought of everything! Its also the little tnings too, such as an alarmclock, lovely bedding, a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. The directions and access were so easy!
