Fabulous stay ! After original confusion of room category, which the team handles exceptionally well (thank you !) we had the most wonderful stay. Spent most of our time poolside, great service and wonderful vibes pre carnival. Reception and concierge team always present and welcoming and warm. Breakfast was excellent in quality and service (maybe better to use the restaurant downstairs instead on the one on the first floor though as a little dark). Classic ‘old school’ white glove service in a contemporary hotel - great ! Can’t wait to return.

The the same calibre as other premium hotels in Rio. The room was OK but very dark. I was told my room had a courtyard view but it really just looked over a messy driveway. Disappointing.

This hotel is beautiful, private, moody and has the best views of Ipanema! The rooftop pool alone is worth the price of the hotel. Such stunning views and very comfortable. The rooms are a bit dark and moody on the courtyard side, but the real charm of the hotel is the Ipanema location and the rooftop. Luciana at the front desk was our favorite and she was so kind to us!

Loud electronic music and party’s going on room long and then early when these guests return to the hotel despite calling front desk for help on this. Then got a phone call a midnight for towels delivery I never had asked for. Did not sleep well in Sumatra any night there. Last thing, cleaning personnel left our room door open when they finished till we came back at night. Never again. Got a discount like that would give us the three night without sleeping Back.
