Our first experience with booking accomn with VRBO will be our last. Our rebooked and confirmed and paid for in Rishikesh was double booked on another platform after the owner ironically became disenchanted with your sinking. Well, we were in the sink and out in the cold when confirming check-in details on the day to find we had no place to stay. The owner was very apologetic and kindly offered a cousin's accomodation for x4 the price!!!!!The experience of re-booking with late notice and finding only an adequate alternative in a far busier location on the main drag left a very bitter taste in the mouth. Please don't try to placate as we will never trust you to book accomodation and return to anther more reliable platform.
