Not exactly stunning, but did the job
Overall this property was a 6 out of 10 (and that is probably generous). The property listing pictures are not up-to-date. The inside painted a different color and there is not enough lighting in the house. The yard was a little overgrown and probably wasn’t mowed within the last two weeks. The old unusable stove fan in the ceiling had spider webs. Did not use the electric stove, but stovetop was burnt and one burner light was constantly. Blinds in kitchen were broken. Vents and bathroom rack rusted. These are just cosmetic fixes that haven’t been addressed and show it’s a rental and not a real VRBO.It smelt like someone had been smoking in the house recently, but eventually, the smell went away with open windows. Owner mentioned ozone machine was available.Portable A/C units were only available for the bedrooms and vented in those rooms. Not enough silverware for more than two people (plenty of dishes and glassware). There were no kitchen extras so bring spices, storage containers, paper products, etc.Internet was spotty even with resets at the house and owner reaching out provider.Water pressure and hot water was great! Neighborhood was quiet and easy to get to. Great layout and great size yard. Owner responded timely with any messages.Again - bare, bare minimum available within house so bring whatever you may need. Would we rent the property again? Maybe - we would just come more prepared (fans, silverware, paper products, etc.).
