I like to stay here but it’s needing an update really bad room 111 stained couch stained sheets in second bedroom and the doors are filthy and outdated. Some outlets not working - Now for nice stuff - staff is very very nice and property outside clean and very welcoming and accessibility is tops to everything - beach #1 and shops train and great eating places .

The property is old and in disrepair! Yet they threatened you with numerous fines if you left things dirty or used. Not kind, pleasant or informative. It was fairly pricey for the quality! I would not recommend to anyone! Dust bunnies/cobwebs, Bugs, baseboards dirty. Carpets stained. Needs serious upgrading!

Great view of the ocean. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of hot water for showers. However, doors don’t lock well. I had to use my shoulder push the door open. Bottom sheet was not fitted so sheets kept coming off. Lighting in the room was not sufficient for reading a book. The microwave didn’t work. The chest of drawers had mismatched drawers. The charging station on the bedside didn’t fit our phone chargers. There was lots of rust and dirt in the windows. While the room had been renovated, the overall appearance of the motel was old and needed a complete renovation. We probably won’t stay there again but we made up for it by riding the Oregon Scenic Coast Railroad, eating delicious ice cream, and walking along the beach to view the twin rocks out in the ocean.

This place is right in the ocean. The place was immaculate clean, we were in 144, and had a fabulous view of the ocean upstairs. A few people had fires in the beach, lovely evening atmosphere. It was quiet. Slept well. Bed was comfortable. Opened the wondrous and listened to the waves all night long, so soothing for my ADD brain,! The price was excellent for its location. We are at pirates cove, excellent dinner. And at grumpys, breakfast was great!

Promising place & great location, upgrades needed!

My room visibly appeared clean but the smell was pretty bad. It smelled musty and like asbestos (some of you know that smell, I'm sure). The smell came from the beds and maybe the couch and carpet. I ended up having to put my own blanket down to sleep on. The kitchen was clean and the dishes seemed clean. It's too bad because the location is amazing and having a kitchen, stove, and small fridge was nice. The woman at the front desk was very nice and the area feels safe. REALLY great beach access. Super easy! It's SUPER close to the best grocery store in town and close to restaurants and bars. Some of the other rooms I saw looked like maybe they had been upgraded a bit so I may have just gotten one that hasn't been yet.

Nice beach stay.

The room was very nice . It provided easy parking access and easy beach access. The only flaw was the toaster didn't work. Im sure i could have got a replacement put the pan method on the two burner cook top worked fine. Food around town is ok but not good.

We loved our stay here. Very clean. Staff was very friendly. The property was in a great location with beach access. Bathroom was great. Was was hot. Walk right out back door to beach. Only reason I didn't give overall excellent rating was mattress on our bed was completely worn out. Like sleeping in a hammock. But we loved it here.
