Summary:

Located at the heart of Rockport, Bayfront Kontiki 502 is in the perfect central location. This private condo is just minutes from the beach, Goose Island , and walking distance to all the complex has to offer. With a pool, boat slip right in front of the condo, 800 foot fishing pier and boat ramp, Charcoal grills and a nice palaypa with picnic tables all around, Basketball Court and Pickle Ball Court you will never run out of things to do.



The Space:

There is a beach on the left side of the property where you can put a kayak in if you choose to bring one. It’s also just one mile from the grocery store for those last-minute supplies. Those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Goose Island Nature Park, The Big Tree and the many Wildlife Refuges within minutes of the house. There is parking for 2 vehicles and first come spots for your boat. Sorry, no pets allowed at this home.

The open floor plan of the living room & kitchen provides space for your entire party to relax after a long day of fishing or sunning at the beach. The private deck is perfect for enjoying your catch of the day! The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances & basic cooking utensils needed to enjoy a night in. For the coffee lover there is a Kuerig and a Coffee Maker. On the main living floor there is a large bedroom with a Queen size bed and a large flat screen TV. The shared bathroom is across the hall from the bedroom. Make your way upstairs to the primary bedroom there is a Queen size bed , flat screen TV and private en-suite bath. The third bedroom, which is also upstairs has a Queen size bed and a Twin bed. There is also a 3rd bathroom upstairs. The washer and dryer is located in the hallway upstairs.

Sleeping 6 this is the perfect home for all kinds of vacations!



WHAT IS PROVIDED:

All linens, sheets and bath towels are provided and of high quality. This home is professionally cleaned and cared for after each stay with much attention to detail. Internet-ready TV’s and wireless internet provided.

‱ Kitchens are well equipped with basic cooking needs (dishes, silverware, pots, pans, coffee maker, microwave and large appliances).

‱ A start up supply of toilet paper, (2 rolls per bathroom), 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 kitchen trash bags, 1 kitchen sponge, bar hand soap for each sink, dishwasher tablets (if the property has a dishwasher) and 1 bottle of dish soap will be provided. After that, the guest is responsible for any additional needs.

SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING:

Beach towels, extra paper goods (toilet paper, facial tissue and paper towels), extra pillows if you wish to sleep with more than two, coffee and coffee filters, spices/seasoning, extra dish soap, extra trash bags, sun tan lotion/sun block and beach gear.

Getting around Kontiki 502 is easy! While Rockport is a charming town best explored by car, we offer free parking for two vehicles at the condo. Additional parking for your boat is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For those flying in, the closest airport is Aransas County Airport (RKP), approximately a 10-minute drive away. From there, you can easily reach the condo by taxi or ride-sharing services. Enjoy your stay!

Please note that check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. We kindly request that you adhere to these times to allow for proper cleaning and preparation for the next guests. Parking is available for two vehicles, with additional spots for boats on a first-come, first-served basis. This property is a non-smoking unit, and pets are not allowed. Weekend Getaway

We took a couples trip out of town to enjoy the beach away from home. The listing for Kontiki was accommodating as there are three bedrooms/ three bathrooms, which was suitable for non-family vacationers. I loved the ample seating in the living area so we could have different groups of conversation at once if we wanted. The proximity of the back patio to the water was perfect, because not all of us were fishermen, but we never felt separated when someone wanted to throw in a line. And they could any time they pleased. Having laundry on site was nice too because we could toss our swimsuits in the dryer and go out again later without putting on a wet suit. We did end up grilling one night, which was easy because there are 4 nearby charcoal pits to choose from. It was never too busy to snag one. All the neighbors were friendly and we never felt uncomfortable or unsafe in the area walking around. We would definitely recommend this location to others!
