I arrived late Monday evening and the lady at the front desk (I wish I got her name) was awesome. Friendly, accomodating and informative about the area. Rooms were ok, clean but the bathrooms need some major TLC. There was no vanity in the bathroom which made it a little more difficult getting ready with no room for hair dryers, hair tools and make up bags. I can live without but would be a nice addition. All in all great stay.

The room that I stayed in was dirty as far carpet had red stains on the carpet, the ice bucket, room table had white splash of paint, the paint was peeling off the walls in the room and the bathroom. This was the worst Doubletree Hotel.

Common thing in older hotels is toilets don’t properly work and bathrooms are outdated and exhaust fans dont work, room was either too hot when AC wasn’t running or too cold while it ran

I arrived at 1 pm on Friday and was turned away and told my room would not be ready until 3 pm. When the receptionist advised me she was not nice at all it seemed I was bothering her. I was so tired and had just landed from my flight driven an hour to the hotel and just wanted to rest. She never offered me the rest room or a drink of water or to even take a rest in the lobby area. I finally got in my room at 4 pm and the room was average needs updates and the bathroom door would not shut and the tub had standing water when I showered. The ac/heating unit was so loud it made it hard to sleep through the night. I messaged the front desk and nothing was done. I was not given towels and wash clothes until I went down stairs and asked the receptionist. I won’t be staying at this hotel again. First impressions are lasting impressions for me.

Lobby was nice. Our room was on first floor very out dated bathroom was so bad I would shower in it. Was waking up in the middle of the night from the water noise from room a floor above us!!!!!! Noise from hallway was bad too!
