The check in was a disaster. Expedia did not send the correct "virtual card" to the hotel causing an over hour delay in checking in after driving 10 hours from FL. Hotel itself was nice and the surrounding area seemed to be up and coming. Expedia needs to get some on shore US based representatives who are able to understand and respond to urgent billing inquires by the customer and the hotel. Otherwise a good stay.

The hotel is old. Had a musty stale smell in the room. We traveled with dogs, they only have dog rooms on the first floor and the odor was pretty bad from previous dogs. Very loud with people walking and slamming doors, our dogs would not rest. We stayed one night traveling up north. Will not stay again.

We did not get room service. When I told the staff at the front desk that our room was not cleaned she blamed me. ( we were at a soccer tournament all day) and when she asked where I could leave the trash and if i could get clean towels, she told me the trash would smell and I had to come back later to obtain clean towels. Additionally I could not get into the laundry room. I had to ask the staff at the front desk 4 times - to help me get in, each time the key was reprogrammed it still did not work. I gave up after that. Needless to say my son did not have a clean uniform. This was incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

Nice hotel. Very dog friendly with a lot of outdoor space for dog walking. Many other hotels and restaurants nearby with Outback Steakhouse being within walking distance. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Safe, quiet area. The bathroom had its own night light which was a nice little feature. My only negative comment would be the beds. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are very hard and lumpy, and the bed has some kind of metal base that sounds like someone banging on a drum whenever I got in and out of the bed or moved around. I would still stay here again on a future trip.
