Right across Hwy 12 you'll find a coffee shop and pizzeria, both within walking distance. There's also Rodanthe Watersports, where you can rent kayaks, paddleboards, and more for exploring the Pamlico Sound.

Please note that the daily effects of winds, waves, tides and storms have contributed to coastal erosion impacts at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, particularly adjacent to the villages of Rodanthe and Buxton. The effects of erosion in these towns result in dynamic and unpredictable changes to the dune line, which may unexpectedly affect beach access. Guests may need to utilize alternate beach access points during their stay.
