About The Addison Exuma - Harts, Exuma
The Addison is a luxury beachfront home with a Baja shelf pool and expansive patio/deck completed in early 2023. The Addison is located in West Exuma on Flamingo Bay. It sits along 2 miles of white sandy beach with stunning views of the crystal clear turquoise waters. It is conveniently located just 6 miles from the international airport, 1 mile from Emerald Bay, and about 20 minutes from Georgetown the Capital of Exuma.

This spacious 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath oasis is the perfect getaway for 5 couples or a big family. Four bedrooms include king beds with en-suite bathrooms and one bedroom includes (2) full-size beds with a twin trundle. All beds feature brand-new top-quality mattresses and plush linens.

The villa features an outstanding outdoor living space with a pool overlooking the ocean and soft outdoor seating. A gas grill and large dining table are great for entertaining. Right on the beach, it is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and get up early to watch the sunrise.

With well-appointed rooms and an open floor plan, this house is ideal for families and groups to enjoy time together. The large modern kitchen features new countertops, stainless steel appliances with a full-size refrigerator/freezer, a separate ice maker, a beverage refrigerator, an oven, a microwave, dishwasher, and an induction cooktop. The kitchen is fully equipped with toaster, coffee maker, Keurig machine, air fryer and a Vita-Mix blender for your drinks!

We can also refer you to a local Bahamian chef who will prepare a great Bahamian meal right in our kitchen. If pampering is on your vacation to-do list, we can bring in a masseuse! You can grocery shop yourself or request our house manager to shop for you - so you have some groceries when you arrive.

At The Addison, you are literally 50 feet from the beach. Once you walk past the sparkling clear pool you are on the sand! Daily beach walks are a must! Other amenities include:

How to get to The Addison:
The Addison is located in Harts, Great Exuma. It is about a 6-mile drive from the Georgetown International Airport. Upon leaving the airport turn left at the first roundabout onto Queen’s Highway. Travel for approximately 6 miles. You will pass through (3) more roundabouts (Sandals & Grand Isle Resort & Marina). After passing Grand Isle you will travel about 1 mile until you see the sign for Harts. Once you see the sign for Harts continues on Queen’s Highway for another 1.2 miles. The Addison will be on the beach side. Look for the large white 2-car garage with blue garage doors. If you get to Big D’s Conch Bar & Grill, you went too far.

Unbelievable, simply unbelievable house and location. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds are very comfortable, sheets and pillow are great. The view is unreal and Ed is the absolute best host you can ask for. Great for families, you will not be disappointed to say the very least.

We had a fantastic stay at The Addison. Ed was extremely communicative from the minute we booked! His suggestions were so helpful and dictated much of our stay. We felt right at home, and it felt like we were Ed's personal friends, and he was excited to have us enjoy his slice of paradise. The design of the house is perfect. Well suited for large parties - large open space in the middle of the house and bedrooms off to both sides. Ed's on-island property manager was also delightful and willing to help us with anything we needed while staying at the home. The house was well-equipped with anything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms and pool-side. The beds were comfy, the couch was cozy and the table was great for games and puzzles!When you first walk into the house, you feel like the house is an infinity pool. The ocean is right there. The outside facilities were great! SO many loungers! We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Ed!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The house is stunning, spotless, and sits right on the most beautiful beach in Exuma. Waking up every morning to the ocean view felt like a dream. The home had everything we needed—comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of space to relax inside and out. Pictures don’t do it justice. Exquisite designed, this new home is impeccably curated — no detail has been overlooked. It is designed with families in mind where everyone has a comfortable bedroom while open common areas are inviting beautiful spaces. The kitchen is appointed w high end appliances, coastal inspired china, Yetis, cutlery - everything you need. Dining and living rooms are great spaces to gather. But the true gem lies just beyond the backyard: a pristine turquoise beach that looks as though it was lifted from a magazine spread. Crystal‑clear water - soft sand perfection. My personal favorite part. We enjoyed hours in that water.The terrace has various spaces to sit and enjoy including rocking chairs perched on the deck w panoramic ocean views. A pool completes the scene. Check-in was smooth and any issues were resolved quickly. The owner offered tips on places to dine & drink and was available by text through our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Family Vacation

The home is amazing, situated on a wonderful beach. Water is the prettiest I have ever seen and we all spent hours in the ocean every day. Snorkeling, kayaking, swimming and fishing all right out your door. Ed is an extremely helpful host. Can’t wait to get back.

Amazing Experience

We rented The Addison to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday with our friends and the house exceeded our expectations. The house was beautiful, clean and the views of the water were stunning. The property owner Ed was very responsive and incredibly helpful with providing resources on the island including rentals, chefs and restaurants. Once we were there Shane the onsite manager would stop by to ensure we were having a great time and was very helpful assisting us with a restaurant for Sunday evening. Sonya was also very helpful ensuring the house was clean and ready to go for our stay. I can’t say enough good things about the property, Ed the owner and Shane and Sonya. You will not be disappointed if you rent this property.

The perfect stay

The Addison was amazing for me and my entire family that traveled to the Bahamas. The house was stocked with any and everything you needed, it was super clean and clean and comfortable. The beach was pretty much right out of the patio doors, which was amazing. The house was stocked with a ton of beach toys, rafts, snorkels, everything you could have needed. Me and my family plan to book again for next summer.One of our best vacations. I truly can’t say enough about The Addison. It was spectacular on every level.

Memorable 50 anniversary vacation

The Addison house in Exuma is a piece of heaven on earth. Since we booked Ed made us feel welcomed and responded quickly to all our questions. The house was very clean, had everything we needed, and Shane, who welcomed us and gave us an orientation, was very helpful all the time. The view is beautiful and the beach is great for walking. Every one in our family enjoyed every day there and now they all want to go back. Thanks Ed for all your kind attention and care for us. Best Bahamas/Exuma Experience Yet!

We've made many trips to the Bahamas across various islands, this is tops. Exuma is tops and the beachfront home and experience that Ed has built only adds to it. Amazing stay at The Addison

Our stay at The Addison was amazing in every way - from the moment we walked in the front door and were blown away by the view, to the courtesy of a later check out when our flights were delayed. The owner was incredibly helpful and generous - sharing great recommendations for markets, outings and restaurants. The property manager was responsive and nearby in case anything was needed (it wasn’t). The house was new and well-appointed - very well set up for our extended family. All told, a remarkable trip that we hope to repeat!

Our group of 5 had the most memorable stay at The Addison. From the moment I booked it our host Ed was in contact and was so helpful with recommendations and extremely accommodating. The attention to detail is unbelievable. The house is so well stocked. There are are yetis,coolers,beach bags,pool toys and too many other things to list. The house is located close to the best restaurants and sits on a beautiful beach. The pictures don’t do it justice. I will definitely be back!

Family Spring Break

Our stay in the Addison was amazing. The setting—beach, pool, deck, home—were all u real. The beach was beautiful, water was everything you’d expect in Exuma or any of the Family islands. The home was perfectly appointed, and included everything from plenty of beach towels to a yeti cooler to cups and all that you’d need to cook a fantastic meal. The owner was amazing. He shared details in advance, checked in throughout our trip, and prior to leaving. Any question we had about a potential excursion, restaurant etc, he was able to answer. We will definitely be going back

All you need

The house was perfect. Rooms are big, bathrooms were beautiful, and the kitchen is where everyone came together as usual so the giant island was clutch. We brought games but there is a big tv console with all the games you could want. The house had all of the beach/pool accessories we needed. Location was great with easy access to the north docks yet close to all of the restaurants. Little ones enjoyed the pool, big ones enjoyed the beach. The beach is quiet and very walkable. The variety of fish about 100 yds off the beach while snorkeling rivaled what we saw on our dive days. The teens loved taking the paddle boards out. The house owner was engaged and responsive before and during our trip, as was the house manager. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent again!

Our family of four had the most unforgettable spring break at The Addison, and we are already dreaming about coming back! This home is absolutely stunning—from the moment you arrive, you're greeted with jaw-dropping views of crystal-clear turquoise water and a wide stretch of white sand beach that feels like your own private paradise.The house itself is incredibly well-appointed. You really don’t need to pack much more than a swimsuit and a t-shirt—everything you could possibly need is already here! Beach towels, paddle boards, fully stocked kitchen (with spices and every utensil imaginable), games, Yeti cooler, even an amazing ice maker that became our favorite surprise amenity.The layout was perfect for our family, with spacious bedrooms, top-notch linens, and a kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals or just hang out and snack with a view. The outdoor space is next-level—lounging by the pool, grilling, or enjoying morning coffee as the sun rises over the water was pure bliss.Location-wise, The Addison can’t be beat. It’s close to great restaurants, beaches, and fun things to do—from Jeep rentals to boat tours—and yet it still feels secluded and peaceful with no neighbors on either side.Our host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for an amazing vacation. They offered incredible recommendations for local spots, grocery stores, boat rentals, restaurants—you name it. It truly felt like we had a personal concierge!
