Tired hotel that is affordable

Hotel was OK. It is situated behind the Steak n Shake restaurant. The sign on the front door asks if you have removed all valuables from your car and if you locked your car which made me wonder if it would be safe. The hotel was an old hotel that was trying to be attractive to tourists. The lobby was clean. Hallways were clean also. The room was clean but the bath tub was filthy. The sink was plugged when we got there but the lobby attendant brought a snake to clear it. We chose to not shower in the filthy tub. Breakfast was mi rowaved egg portions, white bread to toast, 2 juices, yogurt, an apple and waffle maker. The coffee machine would give only medium brew and the lobby drinking fountain was out of order. The hotel was cheap and we survived so it was an ok place to stay when passing through.

It was clean, comfortable and seemed updated. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars was the breakfast.i think there should have been sausages served along with the eggs. There were warming trays out that said empty and this was at 6:30 AM.
