Nestled on a quiet beach with the most spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, is this tropical home away from home.
Enjoy tranquility with the exception of the waves crashing against the shore away from the usual sounds of the city. This piece of paradise is ideally located for the guest looking for pure comfort and relaxation at Exuma Point, located on the northern end of Great Exuma Island.
One of the main features of this 700 square feet island-style cottage, is its spacious wooden deck overlooking the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The wooden, winding steps, amidst the trees and natural fauna of the property, lead from the deck to a quiet, secluded beach. Imagine sunbathing, moon gazing, reading a book or relaxing with your favorite tropical drink in one of the comfortable patio lounge chairs. You may even want to prepare your meal for the day on the gas grill from this point of view.
If dining in is your preference, a fully equipped kitchen with major appliances awaits you. Make yourself at home with a standard size Whirlpool cooking range, refrigerator and microwave oven; toaster oven, beverage blender and coffee maker; and a full complement of cookware, bakeware, dinnerware, drinking glasses and flatware. A stackable washer and dryer stored in its own room also complements the amenities of this modern cottage.
Meals can be served at the four-seat, glass dinette table at the center of the open floor living space.
If you need to unwind before turning in at the end of the day or simply just want to relax and watch a favorite television program, do so in the comfort of a sofa which also opens to a bed for an extra guest or a loveseat, and smart television. Stay in touch with family and friends or conduct business transactions via wireless internet connection provided.
Before turning in for the night, rinse the sand from your feet and enjoy a warm shower in a spacious, glass enclosed shower. Complimentary soap and hair dryer are provided.
End the night comfortably in a queen size bedroom, fully stocked with linen, bath and beach towels, ironing board and iron. Choose to leave curtains and blinds opened for an ocean view rest from your bed or drawn to block out the island's starry skies.
After a restful night, plan a day of adventure with one of the many tour guides to visit the world renown swimming pigs and Thunderball Grotto, the undersea cave where the famous James Bond movie, Thunderball, was filmed. You must also include a visit to the tammed sharks, iguanas, turtles, undersea piano, and plane wrecks, just to name a few. Oh! a visit to one of the picturesque sand bars is also a must. While there, ensure your guide makes a bowl of fresh conch salad - an island favorite.

If you are not too tired to try the nightlife or prefer to dine away from the cottage, there are some restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk on the beach and a few minutes drive recommended. A listing has been provided inside the cottage.
