Located on the third floor with elevator of an ancient convent in the central Prati district, a few steps from St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums, the newly renovated apartment, which harmonises the original details of the building's construction age with modern design, consists of a double room with an ensuite bathroom with bathtub, a room with two single beds, a second bathroom with shower, a living area with fully equipped kitchen and a double sofa bed. Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning available.

There was a lot to love about this apartment and just a couple frustrations. There is a rep to meet you for check in. Nice to have someone there in person, but we arrived late, so there was an extra fee. Building has a small elevator which is very convenient for bringing in luggage or after a long day of walking.The location is fabulous for walking to sites, restaurants, bus and metro. It felt like a real residential, not touristy neighborhood, but still convenient to tourist attractions.Excellent space for our family of 2 adults, 3 children (it would feel tight for 5 adults) Great to have in-unit laundry, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Apartment is nicely refinished with modern cabinetry, well laid out with convenient closet and drawer space.Kitchen seemed well stocked. Although we didn't use it much, it was nice to have the basics.There was some water damage in one of the bathrooms, so we were nervous to use the tub, wanting to avoid additional problems. The other shower wasn't draining well, but the host promptly sent someone to fix it. There was a discrepancy between check out time on VRBO and with the rental company. Normally an hour doesn't make a big difference, but in our case it didn't work with our plans and caused some unnecessary stress. So look out for that.Overall, we enjoyed the apartment very much and would recommend it.

A wonderful place to stay very near St Peter's. The apartment was excellent, clean and modern in a beautiful old building nestled in.a great neighborhood. For our purposes centering largely on visits to the Vatican, it's literally 2 blocks away. You could not do better. There were many good restaurants and awesome gelato and coffee to choose from. I would confidently recommend to anyone. We were a party of 6 including small children. The dual bathrooms were great. Book it. I'm glad we did.

Prati is a great location for the Vatican, the train line for the rest of Rome, shopping and restaurants. The room was confortable and the hosts were responsive to transportation questions as well as other issues.

The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos and described in the listing. When we arrived, it was clean, and the owner kindly explained how to use the air cooling system, went over the apartment rules, and helped us get settled in quickly. One thing to note is that the larger bathroom with the tub doesn't have a fixed shower head; it's attached to a rack above the tub. It worked fine but was a little tricky to set up, and we had to place towels along the edge of the tub to prevent water from dripping onto the floor. Another thing we would have appreciated was having two sets of keys. My husband and I sometimes liked to go out separately from our teens, who also enjoyed their own activities. Having only one set of keys meant we had to coordinate arrival times or stay up waiting for each other to get back, which added some stress. Two sets of keys would have made things much easier. Aside from that, the neighborhood was quite and peaceful, the elevator was a huge help for me since I have hip and knee pain, and the bedding was comfortable. We also loved how spacious the closets were. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the host's hospitality.

Thank you to teh Stay in Rome team. We had a lovely time in Rome. This apartment was really well located, just a few minutes walk from the tube and easy walking distance to the Vatican area. Excellent stay in Prati

Place was exactly as advertised. Clean and large. Communication was easy. Close to everything in Prati. Metro two blocks away. Sit is to airport 5-10 min walk. Tutto perfetto!

Great place if visiting the Vatican

Loved the apartment, check in was a breeze, lots of natural sunlight, beds were very comfortable. The instruction book was well thought out and questions were answered by host promptly. Numerous good restaurants within walking distance. Hope to be back someday. I would give it more than 5 stars if they would let me.
