The room was spacious and very clean. Very nice touch with a bottle of sparkling and still water each side of the bed. Breakfast was substantial. Getting to the rooms with a very tight turn at the top was challenging but the staff offered help both with the luggage when we arrived and when we left. Wonderful overnight stay

We had a lovely stay to celebrate a birthday. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and very reasonably priced. The breakfast the next morning was also great. Service was top notch throughout!

A delightful place to stay

We were delighted with our stay at The Ship Inn, right from the warm welcome to someone checking whether we'd left something behind. The building has lovely windows, with light and views coming in from all angles. The food was delicious, and we were particularly pleased to have a small bottle of real milk in our room.

Four Poster Room

Service and room overall was good. However the toilet seat in our room was broken and it was very hot making it difficult to sleep which was a shame as the bed was so comfy! A fan in the room would have made a big difference. Breakfast was fabulous. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Enjoyable Weekend

We had a 2 night stay in the Four Poster Room. The room was lovely and spacious with the bathroom upstairs. All the staff we came across were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were given the option to put any food and drink purchased at the bar and restaurant and pay for everything at the end of our stay. We will definitely stay again.

My recent stay at The Ship Inn was nothing short of delightful. The room was exquisite, featuring a majestic four-poster bed and an elegant roll-top bath. The decor was tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Over the course of my two-night stay, I was treated to a lovely breakfast each morning, which was a perfect start to the day. Overall a lovely stay in a nice big room

Lovely big room, friendly staff, tasty meal and decent breakfast. Slight down points - the view was of a car park and disused building (but not much can be done about that) and the bed was wobbly and squeaky, with the mattress sloping on one side. The staff were quick to note this and said it would be sorted promptly. Overall, this didn’t detract from what was a lovely night in a pretty seaside village.
