Front desk person never got close to a smile. She was closer to rude. Please hire folks that will greet with welcoming attitude and be friendly. Also We never knew we had to pre register for parking no email no notification. So we were told no option with hotel. Bed is the hardest mattress ever. We had worse sleep of entire trip. No coffee maker in room. No wash cloths. Flooring level changes between bedroom entry and bath so very easy to stub toe in the night. Never staying here again.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable!

The room was stunning and the bathroom beautiful with all its marble! The tub was extra large and definitely worth the nice soak after a cold rainy day. The bed was very comfortable. We ordered the buffet breakfast which had a variety of breads, fruits, veggies, meats and yogurt options. Thwy had a variety of options for coffee machine and tea available too. Very delicious!

I highly recommend a stay at the Eisenhut. The location is superb, the staff welcoming and helpful, and our room with balcony was lovely. I recommend staying for at least 2 nights to really get to enjoy the town and facility. We will definitely be bqck.

While the location of this hotel is breathtakingly beautiful, our stay was far from perfect. The town itself is very challenging to drive through, and the designated parking area is quite a walk from the hotel. We were told our room would be ready at 1 p.m. but had to wait until 3 p.m. for check-in. The room was large and offered plenty of space, but the heat was unbearable due to a lack of air conditioning. The most disappointing part, however, was the bed. Both the mattress and pillows were extremely hard, and we ended up with little to no sleep. Staying for just one night was a relief. For future guests, we hope the hotel considers replacing the old, uncomfortable mattresses and pillows.

Unique historic building situated with a few steps to the Market Square. Excellent dinner and service in restaurant. Reception staff helpful but not very cheerful, which after a long journey and upon asking for assistance would have been nice to see a smile.

Wow, what is not to like about our stay in Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber. Beautiful and scenic town right outside the Hotel Eisenhut. The room exceeded itself. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of special touches with soaps, shampoos and makeup remover pads. The room did not come with a tea kettle, but we just got a carafe of hot water from the lobby. The staff was always great and helpful. Just beware that there is stairs in this hotel, but they do offer a small elevator. We really enjoyed the place and just wished we were able to stay longer.

After an awful hotel in Wurzburg, arriving at the hotel Eisenhut was a joy. A beautiful suite, warm welcoming staff and a perfect location. We couldn't have asked for more.

We weren't sure what to expect from the room - and we were stunned. It was big - I've had smaller apartments. Had a room at the rear of the property that overlooked the biergarten/restaurant, with a view of the city. French doors opened all the way for fresh air. We were on the top floor, so there wasn't a balcony, so if that's your thing, ask for a second-floor room. Rothenburg is very walkable. We took the train there, and the property is only about a 15-minute walk from the Bahnhof. We'd visit again. The staff was exceptional, property relaxed and easygoing, and recommend staying here to anyone planning a trip to Rothenburg. The central location makes it extra convenient.

Beautiful place, beautiful town. Difficult parking. Park outside any of the city walls that go around the entire old town you will need your phone on roaming to find the hotel. for a 7 euro a day to park… pay with credit card for each 24 hours you are there. Then walk in . Once you get your footing it’s pretty easy. Very worth going. Try to exchange euro at a bank not an atm in the tourist area bc they will charge you a lot! Like 30$ per 100 euro rip off. Also have euro on hand bc many restaurants do not accept credit card or us cash. It’s euro only .
