Wonderful host in wonderful location

For anyone looking to stay in high or low season, Marions place is great. A perfectly short walk to the downtown, a ahort deive to rudesheim, where you can visit nearly everything you need to, be it a long, or short stay.

Great find!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Assmannshausen with Frau Altenkirch who was very helpful and offered us great information. Perfect for my husband and myself, comfortable beds, good sized kitchen and lovely view. Would happily stay here again. Danke!

Your host is wonderful and the apartment is very nice and well situated. You have beautiful view of wine vineyards from your windows and a location that allows for walks in the area that is full of small towns and country roads. Overall a most excellent place to stay!

Inexpensive and decent option

The property was large, clean and well - equipped. It was 15-20 minutes walk uphill from Assmannshausen. Nice walking in the vineyards opposite. All things considered, the price was excellent.

Lovely, quiet base for day trips on the Rhine

The bottom apartment was very well equipped for a six night stay. The kitchen allowed for us to cook and the lounge and eating area was big and spacious. The location is in a quiet little street between Assmanshausen and Aulhausen which is great if you want to have a quiet stay (particularly away from the hustle and bustle of Rudesheim am Rhein too). Assmanshausen just a hike down the road (it's steep) allows for Rhine ferries to pick up passengers which is very handy. Marion was a wonderful host with all information you may need for your visit. Very comfortable stay and would recommend!

Nice holiday on the Rhine

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Was beautiful even though it was December and cold and damp. The apartment is very nice and spacious and our host Marion was very welcoming. She even baked Christmas cookies for us! We saw many of the villages along the Rhine and had a great time at the Rüdesheim Christmas market. Very festive and just what one needs to get in the spirit. I would love to stay here again if we are ever in the area. It would be a nice place to stay any time of year. Thank you Marion:)

This was a great place to stay in Rudesheim am Rhine area. It was actually located in Assmanshausen which is a quaint village just five or ten minutes from Rudesheim along the Rhine River. Marion the owner was very helpful, accommodating and for a few extra euro's made us breakfast each and every morning. The accommodations were clean and more than ample. We would highly recommend this home away from home to anyone heading into that area of Germany. John/Shannon

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, man hat alles was man braucht Die Betten sind bequem, die Decken super warm, die Lage sehr ruhig (was ich super finde)Das Bad ist sehr sehr klein, man kommt jedoch zurecht.In der Küche könnten 1-2 Tassen sowie ein paar Bowls vorhanden sein.Die Küche ist mit einer klassischen Kaffeemaschine ausgestattet (steht nicht in der Beschreibung, ist aber ne wichtige Info für Kaffeetrinker)Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und herzlich und beantwortet sämtliche Fragen rund um Urlaubsgebiet.

Tolle Ferienwohnung

Wir waren ein paar Tage auf dem Rheinsteig unterwegs mit dem Stand-Quartier in der Wohnung. Das ging super mit Bus und Bahn. Die Wohnung selbst hat alles, was man braucht. Die Hauswirtin war super freundlich. Man kann bei ihr sogar einen lokalen Rotwein bekommen. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder.

Urlaub mit Kind

Die Ferienwohnung hat uns gut gefallen, es war ausreichend Platz und sogar ein paar Spiele vorhanden und das Angebot bei Bedarf noch etwas ausleihen zu können. Leider war kein Spielplatz in der Nähe - aber in Assmannshausen selber war einer zu finden. Für einen Wanderurlaub sehr gut geeignet, sehr nette Vermieterin.
