Taiaruru beach house, Bay of Islands, direct beach access & cedar hot tub

If you love the serenity of the bush and the spectacular views of the Bay of Islands, with direct beach access, then our beach house is the place for you!

Recently built in 2020, the house is alongside our home, on the Te Wahapu peninsula a few minutes’ drive from Russell. You will have your own space, including on-site parking, and we can also accommodate a small boat.

You will have access to the beach house - upstairs with 2 bedrooms, full bathroom, and lounge; downstairs with kitchenette, dining, reading nook, office desk, children’s bunk room as well as outdoor deck with dining for 7, cedar hot tub, 2 loungers PLUS the gym which is a separate building up the hill path.

Other things to note:
There is a shared path, through our garden, down to the pebble beach.

Please note the oven is a Miele steam oven and there is a convection microwave - there is no full baking/roasting oven. The cooktops are 2 portable induction and there are 2 pans, 2 saucepans and a full size electric frying pan. The fridge is a CoolDrawer so operates as either a fridge, freezer, chiller, pantry or wine fridge.

We provide some coffee capsules, tea bags etc to start you off - there are 2 supermarkets in Russell should you wish to purchase any further supplies.

The cedar hot tub does take a few hours to heat to operating temperature (38.5 C) and can take 24+ hours from cold. The hot tub is serviced daily.

Please note the laundry facility (washer/dryer) is located in the gym.

Parking is available on-site for 1 vehicle and a small boat - please let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing your boat.
