Strip any used beds, gather used towels, and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Gather all trash and place in the cans outside by the patio. Load dishwasher and start it. Wash any hand-wash items and place them in the dish drainer by the sink.
Gather all used towels and bedding (sheets and pillowcases only). Place them on the kitchen floor in front of the fireplace. Set the AC to 75°F or the heat to 65°F, depending on the season.
If depart through front door: Be sure side door keypad is locked. The front door will lock when pulled closed. If depart through side door: Tap “Away” on keypad. Ensure the front door is fully shut.
