Flawless. We loved our stay at The Ship Inn and I strongly recommend it for any stay in Rye. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of town. The pub is beautiful and historic and the room itself modern and faultlessly clean. Some little details I really appreciated: tea and coffee and kettle in the room (with oat milk sachets!), a deep bath, tv, desk fan and a very comfy, spacious bed. 10/10

Rooms are well-appointed, very clean and have tea and coffee-making facilities. Due to the age of the building it is not air conditioned so can get hot on a warm night, although the hotel supplies fans.

We stayed here to break up a journey, lovely little place to stay right by the river and only a short walk to the high street, room very comfy with good bathroom, tea / coffee tray, food was avaliable but we eat elsewhere but heard good reviews

40th wedding anniversary

I have always wanted to visit Rye after l heard about it on the radio. I was not disappointed. The Ship Inn staff were very welcoming, the food was lovely and also the atmosphere, you felt that the staff were happy in their work. We had our rather large dog with us, who settled quickly to his different surroundings. Also a sausage treat now and then was welcomed. I would definitely stay there again, also so well placed for accessing the town, only downside is parking, we managed each time to find a space where you could park for free. I would highly recommend a stay at the Ship Inn.

Greeted by a very helpful Nicole, who also took dinner order and dealt with dietary requirements. Rooms modern and clean. You have to pay to park but car park is very close. Location very close to the town centre.

Nice place to stay in Rye.

Lovely hotel in pub. Friendly staff. Nice room, fun decor. Clean bathroom. Real coffee in the room. Pub has nice selection drinks.

Everything is great, walking distance to everything. Parking not super easy given the limited spaces available around the property, and you have to pay for it - around 8 pounds a day.
