Booked for 5 nights and only stayed for 18 hours.

Pros: The view from the balcony was the only nice thing.
Cons: This could actually be a very nice place if they just did some updating and housekeeping.
Location: It is far away from anything and there is nothing to do here.
We had to find our room on our own at 11pm at night when we checked in. We walk into our room and it looks like a scene from CSI. There was something splattered all over the walls, the trash can and the tub. The furniture was dirty, the bathroom was filthy, someone left a fake fingernail in the middle of the chair. We showered in our shoes because the tub was so dirty. The water came out brown for 45 seconds before it cleared up. The mattress springs stabbed us in the back all night and there was a huge hump in the mattress that wouldn't allow you to even roll over. The pillows on the bed were smaller than my head. There is no wifi in the rooms even though they advertise it.The breakfast was decent expect for running out of silverware and plates every 5 minutes. The bar was horrible. The cocktail of the day was rum and sprite out of a 3 ounce plastic cup. My living room is bigger than the beach. They didn't have beach towels. All of the hotel laundry is done in one washer and one dryer that is in the middle of the resort. There is no way possible that they can wash all the sheets and towels at the resort in one washer and dryer. We checked out of the hotel after 18 hours because of how horrible it was. The manager apologized and offered to reimburse when we came to checkout but she magically disappeared when it was time for the refund. The pictures are grossly photo shopped and look nothing like the actual hotel.

Nice hotel near all the North beaches in Westpunt

Pros: Staff were very nice.
Cons: Infrastructure
Location: Loved the location, the hotel is close to all of the beaches in the North, Playa Jeremi, Playa Knip, Playa Lagun, Playa Grandi, Playa Abao. Great!
Loved the location, the hotel is close to all of the beaches in the North, Playa Jeremi, Playa Knip, Playa Lagun, Playa Grandi, Playa Abao. AT the hotel - Playa Kailki (beach had lots of coral that hurt your feet - definitely need water shoes for this beach). All great beaches to be close to. The hotel in itself, was a little more challenging, the room wasn't as spacious as the pictures, garden side. We had issues with our door lock, so much that by the end of our stay we just put tissue in the lock so that we could come in and go without an escort every time we wanted access to the room. The water flooded the room the day before we left. We reported multiple times about the door, the staff was not able to do anything about it. They dried up the floor when we reported the flood. Staff was very nice, they didn't ignore us, they just couldn't fix our issues. Food was good, Breakfast eggs, toast, fruit, lunch & dinner were rice, meats, vegetables, fruits. Overall the hotel worked for what we needed.

Nice hotel at the end of nowhere closed to beach,

Pros: Everything else great, nobody bothers you or paying interest to you, just quiet spying.
Cons: A lot,
Location: It is nothing NO THINGS to do except your personal interests like swimming, reading, listen your own music, sleeping. You are free.
Hotel looks nice and feels good, beside no hot water, limited towels, fixed 12 items menu in the expensive only one restaurant and sharing public beach with public entrance. Electronic equipment, TV, etc about 15 to 20 years old. No public transportation. Deposits charged upfront as a mistake and latter sorry. No entertainment, sport club not working, pool full of chemicals and smells as a toilet, which is nearest. Very quite. Maintenance required about hour waiting time, and request for the soup or anything that comes in any Day Inn required on daily basis. Personal is nice, smoking everywhere permitted, price for everything 1.5 times than in USA.

Great rooms, location, views and diving!

Pros: Free Internet, views
Cons: onsite food is costly, is a far drive
This was our first time visiting Curacao and we were not disappointed by the lodge. You must get the top floor ocean suites facing the ocean as the view is unobstructed and amazing. The lodge grounds were well kept and had many facilities that we enjoyed. There were not many places to eat onsight and their prices were very high but just a couple of minute drive away from the lodge there was the greatest place for dinner on the island. It was called Landhuis Misje and is must be visited. This is also easy to do as you must have a car to get to the lodge and a drive to eat should be expected at least a few nights during your stay. The lodge also had great diving/snorkeling right off the beach, and the onsite dive shop provided very reasonably priced tours to other locations. We even saw turtles! One caveat, the internet in the suites is basically limited to the bedroom as the wireless router isnt powerful enough to broadcast into the rest of the suite. It was slow, but did its job. The kitchenette was appreciated but as there are basically no grocery stores, other than mini-marts, we didnt get much use out of the kitchen. We loved the lodge and would definitely recommend it to everyone!

nice hotel with oceanview studio an enjoyable apect.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Nothing close
My wife and I stayed a week in early Sept at Kura Hulanda Lodge. We had a car rented and think that is a must to enjoy this area as there is nothing within walking distance outside of the property. The beach was small but adequate, as was the pool. The snorkeling on the reef at the property was one of the best, but you will need to swim out past the buoys to really see the reef. We spent most of our time driving to different beaches nearby (15-40 minutes drive) and snorkeling there. Bring your own snorkel gear....We did 15 different snorkel locations within the week sometimes up to 3 in a day. Sept. is hot there so being in or near the water is the best way to enjoy the area. There is no nightlife at the resort, and none nearby. We enjoyed the Pinchu (chicken or beef on a skewer) at the resort water front restaurant, which was very well priced $24 for 2 people with salad and rice. Sol Food was really good, as was Landhuis muis(high end but worth it) , and Rancho El Sobrino, Jauncies was ok but everything came out like a stew.. not our favorite.

Great Resort in a Stunning Location

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
This was an amazing trip for my wife and myself. From the balcony we had gorgeous Caribbean views by day and stars and milky way by night. The staff was friendly and attentive when needed, the rooms were well cared for and comfortable. I would recommend this vacation spot to anyone.

Perfect Hotel in a natural surrounding

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Nothing close
Yes, it is a nice hotel with garden an is very calm. You need a car or you stay only for 2 or 3 nights. There is nothing arround. You can enjoy the natural caribic feeling. The rooms are very big, with sitting room and sleeping room in our case, it was a better room with sea view. You should wear bathin shoes, because, like on many other beaches,, too, there are coral stones at the beach.

Great enviorment away from the crowds- Diving a plus.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
We had a wonderful time at KH. The second floor villa had great views of the gardens and loved the balcony area. Make sure you get the second floor in the garden villas as they have a kitchen and nice balcony vs 1st floor. The gym is fine. Not state of the art but will do. Pool is nice and overall resort is beautiful. As others have mentioned; food is OK and on the pricier side. Staff is very nice and we did enjoy our meals. There are a few other local rests. that are fun too. Dive shop is great- Ocean Encounters West. Very nice, helpful and makes diving easy with dock, lockers and rinse tanks. Reef is great too. We plan on going back in July. Island has a lot to do and we barley put a dent in it...

Great location bad prices.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: expensive
The lodge has a great location out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the city and the drive is goregous. The property is gorgeous with a lot of wildlife. We rented a car and were able to come and go as we pleased. We had 1 meal at the lodge and was charged 17% on top of the total bill .12% service fee and 5%tax/island charge. A chicken wrap and a club sandwich ended up being $45 USD without any adult beverages. If you have a kitchenett they charge $10 a day for post and pans????? Outrageous. I must say the room rate was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. If you plan on eating there bring a big wallet. My boyfriend went on a two tank dive and he really enjoyed it. The 2nd tank dive they could have swam to the location... I was sitting on the beach and watched them head out and stop 100 yards off shore in front of me lol. They did a great job and were very friendly. Overall we had a wonderful time but would reccomend you going to eat at other locations around the island or dine in ;)
